    I'd forgotten how much I hated that "He Gawn" until that moment.

    Double play scores the run. Lee sure has ground into a lot of those this year.

    Probably taking one for the team since both our CF are beat up. I'm hoping it might lead to discussing putting him there full time and opening a spot for making a trade for a LF/RF like Milton Bradley.

    I would LOVE to get Harden...but having Hendry trying to work a deal with Billy Beane scares me. Considering we don't have prospects I'm scared of losing, dealing with Beane bothers me less than usual. My guess is Beane would buy low and get Hill along with some other players he could either keep or spin elsewhere. My guess is Billy would end up with Hill + Pie + Ceda.

    Hawk and DJ make listening to Dan Plesac or Joe Carter a pleasureable experience.

    After awhile teams begin to take on the character of their leader. We saw it in 2004 when the Cubs took on the thin-skinned, us-vs-the-world attitude of Baker. Ozzie has always involved himself in the crude trash-talking about the Cubs and Wrigley, so it's not surprising players like Danks get in the middle of it, especially since Danks is young and impressionable.

    Yay that leaves the wounded as Soriano, Zambrano, Ward. Ward will be in the minors rehabbing, so soon it will only be Sori and Z With the way Hoffpauir has hit, we really haven't missed Ward. Soriano and Zambrano, well that's a different story.

    Even after dropping three in Tampa, we still lead the division by 3.5 games, we're still 6-4 over our last ten and 10-7 for June. I'm not worried, yet.
