If the Brewers decided to go for broke, they have the prospects on the farm to make a deal...especially if they are dealing with an American League club. LaPorta or Gamel would get any team's interest. Both can hit. Both are defensively challenged. With firstbase belonging to Prince and LF filled by Braun, the Brewers might consider one of those expendable. Add to those Alcides Escobar, Michael Brantley, Angel Salome and some of the second tier prospects and the Brewers could outbid nearly any team if they desired. Just being able to use a LaPorta or Gamel at the top tips most offers in their favor, especially to a team like the Indians who are in need of offense.
