I don't think there's a market for Soriano unless the Cubs eat a large portion of the contract. Even if there were, Soriano has a no-trade clause. He would likely want some sweetner in order to waive it. That would further eat into the value the Cubs could get in return. If someone created a scenario where the Cubs trade Soriano without eating any or much money and could then sign another LF, I'd be all for it. I'd rather have Manny or Dunn than Soriano in LF. Since that's not going to happen, I'll just resign myself to the fact that we have Soriano being overpaid on this team for a long time.
