  1. can someone explain why we then signed a 1 year deal with Gorz, if we are going to trade him. Is it because we needed to own him before trading him??
  2. But Brady can say, "SO," I am paid millions and married to a super-model, who is freaking hot!
  3. Yeah, wow. Too damn bad huh? The 20 people who wanted Cleveland/Carolina in the Super Bowl this year are real disappointed too, man. Now wait a minute, the Browns looked like a superbowl team for at least 2 games this year. They are shooting for three next year
  4. For the 14 people that were expecting and actually excited to see the Falcon/Sea-hawk match-up this must be a real bummer.
  5. You win! or lose, depending on perspective
  6. Where is "Despicable Me?" Best picture of the year!!!
  7. I'm pretty sure this is the case. That still makes it a waste of $133,000. There is no good reason for this. None. Rumors have it that his coffee making skill rival Neifi Perez's
  8. Well, he didnt openly come out and say it, but comparing himself to "Wild Thing" Ricky Vaughn definitely hints at that being what he meant. So he was in prison? Not sure, he could also just mean he was out banging his teammates wives so who knows. Comparing yourself to Ricky Vaughn leaves a lot of things possible. No, then he would be comparing himself to Rafael Palmero.
  9. Johnson bring a factor that the Cubs lacked last year and that is the beard factor.
  10. Sometimes if you can't do you are very good at explaining how to do it. Let's hope that is the case
  11. Phillips-He just can't figure out why he is an ex-GM
  12. On NPR today they said he struck out 36 at a fantasy sports camp at age 90. http://www.npr.org/2010/12/16/132101192/Pitching-Great-Bob-Feller-Dies-At-92 I have his autograph, wonder if it jumped up in price? Classy guy that told it as it is
  13. What's with the hate for animated movies?
  14. I think the only thing breaking about this news is the hearts of Oriole fans.
  15. so with the win on Monday the NE Pats are god's gift to the NFL. I love the Browns, but come on they aren't the cream of the NFL and they beat the Pats like a narc at a bikers rally. What did they do to stomp this fiercesome Pats team?
  16. http://www2.jdrf.org/site/PageServer?pagename=walk_homepage It would be nice if we donated to his favorite charity
  17. Shocker, but would love to see mad-dog back at Wrigley but what about his brother? Is he in a restrictive contract with Texas?
  18. And you guys make fun of podunk towns of Texas like Happy, TX they have 85 in their class
  19. or they could fall apart mid-year and trade them to us
  20. I am waiting for the headline " Joe Morgen FIRED, Ryan Sandberg takes his place"
  21. Doesn't mean he wouldn't have been a good fit as the bench coach. With the Cubs in transition and bringing up a lot of these young players that Sandberg has coached and been around the last four years would have been very beneficial to the Cubs and these players. Listach also has been around these players. Listach worked in the system for quite awhile too. Based on experience as minor league manager and coaching, Listach is more qualified than Sandberg. While Sandberg has the name and illustrious playing career, he's still relatively inexperienced in coaching/managing. but fairly successful at all the levels he has coached, even if this year we used every minor leaguer we had at pitcher. I would have loved to here from player who played for him.
  22. Hope it is for 30,000 and a herd of goats. Talented but I am seeing that glass body shattering again. Hope not though
  23. I can't believe they were brow beaten into this, I loved the park in Mesa. Better Mesa than Florida though, better vacation
  24. When he first started managing I would have said he was 60
  25. I got pulled over going 70 in a 65 on I-80 around 3 in the morning going back to Chicago from Colorado. It was out of state plates and I think they just saw an easy option to get paid. It was the three in the morning that made them suspicious. Have a horse trailor or an RV at three in the moring and you are definetly picked up on I-40 There was nothing suspicious about driving at 3am on I-80. for some magical reason the State Highway patrol can sense a vehicle with drugs a mile away even if they aren't breaking the law they will find something to pull you over , to slow, to fast the numbers on your liscens plate were dirty and couldn't be read. If you refuse a search they can hold you for up to an hour in Texas until the dog unit gets there and establishes probable cause
