  1. I'll be darn, then in the film "Catch me if you can" the line is said wrong as well
  2. I am sticking with Micah because I am afraid Milton will get injured lacing his shoes up
  3. I think we can't judge it until he decides definetly that he is going to do the WBC, it has sounded like he is waffling on wether he is or not
  4. Sorry, I didn't until I got home because the school blocks that website, that is a scary thought though
  5. the big game? are you afraid that the nfl will come after you for using the term "super bowl"? sorry, I already had the term "Big Game" copy-written.
  6. If I was Hendry/Lou I would be on the phone tomorrow telling all these guys to say no. It's only a matter of time until some big name player gets hurt and is out for a long period of time in this traveshamockery of an event, and I don't want it to be a Cub. Hopefully when the revised rosters come out no Cubs are on them, especially Z, Lilly, Harden and Soto. Iron man Harden is the only one tough enough to take on the WBC and the regular season. If not obvious there should be a crap of green over my font right now :banghead:
  7. He looks like crap, he is my age I thought 48 right?
  8. I remeber mad-dog had it and was pitching the day after, wonder why he waited at all...maybe it was the extra 12 mill a year he needed
  9. Even without assuming a Peavy trade, this makes the Cubs better. They got probably as much value out of Pie as they possibly could have. agree, and Baltimore is the only team I could see in the AL that would do this deal.
  10. If the requirement is thaty we need a verteran left hander off the bench my dad is avaliable. He is left handed and he fought in WWII making him a veteran
  11. What ever happend to the good old days of slapping the largest wad of cash on the table gets the team?
  12. Unbelievable breakfast and lunch "First Watch" cheap and a lot of food the "Big Apple" all you can eat ribs
  13. sounds like we need to go out and troll for all our ex-minor leaguers. I will agree that Lee needs to be moved if he doesn't produce in the playoffs this year.
  14. So we now have Hoff and Johnson as our right fielder with special guest appearances by Bradley
  15. Just hoping that we get a Rick Sutcliffe type of player like we did in the 80's
  16. this is so much more fun than the normal NHL game for some reason.
  17. I love this!!! I even have a moronic football fanatic thinking it is interesting
  18. I hate the Red Sox just as much as the Yankees. Oh crap, I just realized that the backlash to all these signings will be 800,000 more annoying Red Sox bandwagoners declaring them "giant-killers" and rooting for them over the Yankees crap. The thing is that the Red Sox put up, what 170 million for Texeira too. The Red Sox have their own evil empire too. And being a Rays fan is even more trendy-annoying. But there's a fourth team that can challenge for a playoff spot in that division. The Blue Jays. Oh crap, I just realized you are right!! first everyone want to go green then they'll want to root for an expansion club, and I hate expansion clubs
  19. 24 times on the DL might be it. or it is a business and we needed the money because we can't move Jason Marquis
  20. I would like Milton but I don't think that deal will get done
  21. Hobbits, because the guy in "Rudy,"(about a Notre Dame football player) played in "Lord of the Rings" as a Hobbit therefore Notre Dame=Hobbit
  22. If there's more runs batted in by the singles... then yes, they are better. that all depends if the bases are clogged with those darn guys that keep walking, it called the "Dusty factor."
  23. and the Cubs light him up to win the seventh game
  24. Barry Bonds is awsome pick-up for the year 1991
  25. I can't believe this number is this high without involving the Texas Ranger owner
