    wow, much worse than i thought. GREAT evidence against all those who talk about how great neifi is for a backup shortstop. this just show that he's not great at all. he's basically replacement level. Yeah right, something tells me that the people who think Neifi has been great arent exactly the kind of people that look at stats like VORP. Nope. They're just looking at his .265 BA and thinking, "hey that's not that bad."

    Although with the Phillies loss, that means we're in 3rd place in the Wild Card all by ourselves. Phillies are a half game back of us. I guess that's sort of good news. :?

    And Lidge is automatic once again. Astros win again. They're still 2 games ahead of us and only 1 game out of the wild card.

    I'm guessing Howard goes deep off of Lidge to tie the game. :wink:

    And Wheeler comes in and strikes out Burrell on 3 pitches. Burrell didn't take the bat off his shoulder during the at-bat. :x To the bottom of the 8th, Astros up 3-2.

    Yeah, nevermind. The FSN announcers said Lidge was coming in, but it's Wheeler.

    Lidge coming in with 2 outs and nobody on in the 8th. Astros leading by a run. Doesn't look good for the Phillies.

    No thanks. I could see the Cards having a lot of interest in him with their outfield injuries. It'd make perfect sense they pick him up and he becomes the next Albert Pujols.

    Anyone else having trouble hearing the Peoria broadcast? I've got it turned all the way up but I can barely hear it.

    I wouldn't have any problem with that. The only thing I'd worry about is Affeldt is similar to Remmy in that he gets out righties better than lefties. We all know the problems that Dusty seems to have in understanding this phenomenon. :roll:
