    Kelton goes yard for Iowa. Solo shot in the top of the 4th. It's 2-1 Cubs.

    Cpatt is 0-2 so far today with a pop up to the 3rd baseman in foul territory and a flyout to left field. Looks like he's at least trying to go the other way.

    Just for the heck of it, if they are high profile, these would be my guesses: Cub:Nomar Giant: Bonds Oriole: Sosa Philly: Abreu Tiger: Pudge Mets: Piazza, Pedro Astros: Bagwell, Ensberg Yankees: Giambi, Sheffield, Posada All hypothetical, but it was kinda fun trying to guess. I think some of the picks are sort of obvious but anyway... That guy has to be on steriods. There's no other way to explain his ridiculous numbers this year. He's not nearly as good as his numbers have been this year.

    Bobby Brownlie is starting for Iowa today. No reason given yet for why he's starting instead of Valdez. Cubs scored a run in top of first on 3 straight singles. Brownlie gave up a run in the bottom of the first. It's 1-1 going into the top of the 2nd.

    So Franklin gets his name in the paper, and probably misses two starts. I'm sure that will make him think twice about using steroids. :roll:

    I think your friend is messing with you. But if there were a Cub caught, I bet it'd be Macias. He's hitting .287 for cripes sake. He's gotta be on something. :D

    I posted this in the "Outfield Alignement" thread, but felt it needed it's own thread. Bruce Levine was on ESPN 1000 a while ago and said that Corey would be recalled in the next 7-10 days. With the 3 coming back on Friday, and then if Corey gets recalled in the next 7-10 days, that's a lot of shuffling. Can't say I'm that big of a fan of this if it's true. :?

    Bruce Levine was on ESPN 1000 a little while ago saying that Corey would probably be recalled from AAA in the next 7-10 days. I'm not sure how to feel about that. :?

    I wonder if Congress will have some sort of investigation into this. I could see them making an example out of Raffy. If they do I wonder if we'll find out what he actually got caught for. I still don't understand why they keep that a secret.

    They just said during the Orioles broadcast that Raffy would address the media through a conference call at 1:30 pm ET.

    Here's mine. By the way, I don't think there's any way Dusty puts Murton in the 2-hole, but that's where I put him. Lawton RF Murton LF Lee 1b Burnitz CF Aram 3b Nomar SS Walker 2b Barrett C I still think Dusty is going to leave Hairston in CF though. :x

    I don't think Lawton has any more range than Burnitz. I'm pretty sure Burnitz's defense>>>>>>>>>>Lawton's defense. Lawton has some issues in the outfield.
