    I keep going to bed every night in hopes that I'll wake up in the morning, check NSBB, and there will be a "Baker Fired!!!!!" thread started in Baseball Discussions. Unfortunately it hasn't happened. :cry:

    Matt Morris had the procedure done I believe. Wade Miller as well if memory serves. Wade Miller actually didn't have the surgery done. They decided that it could heal on it's own. Maybe he should have had it done though. Wood should have the procedure done immediately. There's no point wasting him in the bullpen when this season is pretty much a wash anyways. Have the surgery now instead of November so he has that much more time to heal and be ready for Spring training next year.

    Unfortunately, I'll probably still watch. I'm a sucker for pain.

    Yay and boo. What could possibly be the point of having him miss the playoffs to sit on the bench? He'll get very valuable experience watching Jose Macias playing CF.

    Schedule the procedure for next week. We should officially be out of it by then.

    Well there is one good thing about us losing all the time. We'll get to see September callups get to play. Wait, Dusty Baker coaches this team. Nevermind.

    Haha. I had to laugh when I saw the lineup. That's all I can do anymore. Maybe I'll go see a movie.

    Unfortunately there isn't going to be much talent to spend that money on this offseason. The free agent pool is pretty pathetic going into this offseason. I could see Hendry pulling off a big trade though for a Dunn, Kearns type player. Of course I'm also hoping that Hendry and Dusty come to an agreement that this team is better off with Dusty somewhere else.

    You should write a book. I'll call it "DustyBall" Will it include a foreword by Holla, Macias, and Neifi???

    Personally, I like the fact that we have Williamson in our pen. He is good. So we shoud resign Dempster as well. There's our two best RP. If we can get Giles for a 3 year deal that would be huge for us. I could care less if we resign Nomar or not at this point. I rather see Cedeno. Stick Murton or another OF not named Macias, or Holla at the other corner spot. Let's hope Corey can come back and bat at least 275. I wonder if Nomar would sign with us if he was signed to play 2b?? :scratch: I think Cedeno deserves a chance to prove himself. I also think Murton does as well. Only way that happens though is if Dusty isn't with the team next year.
