    How so? Neither of them got the surgery he did. Wood did. He did? I thought he got a "less serious" version of the same procedure than Miller did. Ah well, shows why I never even made it to flunking out of medical school. I'm pretty sure this is true. Woody's surgery involved just a cleanup. He didn't have a tear. Miller did have a tear in his shoulder that had to be repaired.

    :?: I bat LH and throw RH and it's never affected me in the infield. You could say I'm naturally LH. I was always above average defensively at SS. I guess I don't understand your reasoning.

    I see him being a 5 or 6 hitter in the big leagues. I'm hoping he gets put in the 7th or 8th spot when he finally gets the call. Of course if Dusty is still the coach, we'll probably see Pie batting leadoff. He's super fast dude.

    From todays Sun-Times: I'm really starting to wonder if baseball players ever exercise. Sore from playing 1st base? That's pretty ridiculous. Also, another reason why there shouldn't be a DH. If you're sore from playing the field (1b no less), then you probably shouldn't be playing baseball.

    Dusty will be extended tommorow if we win today. Hendry is probably thinking that 2 sweeps of the Cards in one year is like winning the World Series for the Cubs. Definitely deserves a 2-year extension.
