  1. Awesome. No one has said it yet. THE DON!!!!!
  2. Just showed Barrett talking to the media on the Lead Off man. He said the appeal has already been filed. Should take some games off that 10-game suspension.
  3. Just showed Barrett talking to the media on the Leadoff Man. He said the appeal has already been filed. Should take a couple games off that 10-game suspension.
  4. Nice -- Bynum should provide some good protection for ARam..... ](*,) I'm sure Aram will see a bunch of good pitches today with the power-hitting Bynum hitting behind him. Should be a wonderful day for Aram to hit. :x
  5. No Womack in today's lineup, but our savior is in the 2-hole and fast-Freddie in LF: 1. Pierre CF 2. Neifi 2b 3. Walker 1b 4. Barrett C 5. Jones RF 6. Ramirez 3b 7. Bynum LF 8. Cedeno SS 9. Zambrano P From mlb.com
  6. Pie's average is down to .278, but you gotta love that his OBP is more than 60 points higher at .343. Still striking out too much, but he's taking more walks. His OPS is .799 at the moment.
  7. So Pierre might finally be moved from the leadoff spot, and we might have a new leadoff hitter today. Oh wait, it's probably Tony Womack.
  8. And what's Jacque's OPS against lefties again? Also, why is Theriot on the big club? Gotta love how this team is run.
  9. Pujols? LOL! I think it's pretty much a given that the Cards aren't gonna deal us Pujols no matter what deal we throw at them.
  10. I say take your time big guy. There's no rush back. Just make sure you're fully healthy for 2007. PS- We miss you horribly.
  11. Swept by the $18 million Marlins, who were coming off a 7-game losing streak. Way to go Cobs!!!
  12. Juan Pierre up with 2 outs and 2 men on base in the bottom of the 9th. How fitting. I'm guessing a ground out to the 2b.
  13. Neifi K's. That's our $5 million man...
  14. Bottom 7. And Ohman comes in and gives up another walk. Good job team!

    LMAO

It's just bad luck dudes. We're not getting the breaks.
  16. HAHAHAHAHA. 3-run homer by Cabrera. 9-3 now. This is so amusing.
  17. Pierre K's to end the inning. Seriously, how much more do we have to see him in the leadoff spot?
  18. We were up 3-1, 2 outs none on in the bottom of the 5th, Cedeno short hops a throw to walker resulting in an IF hit (that should have been an error), and carnage ensues, the Marlins scored 5 times. So I take it everyone will be blaming this loss on Cedeno, huh? I don't blame him for giving up a triple, double, and 3-run homer. It was a tough play as is with Ramirez running down the line. Should have been an error though.
  19. Burn them. I had bleacher tickets to the game on the 17th, and I just gave them away to a buddy of mine who lives in Chicago. No way I'm traveling 4 hours to watch this train wreck.
  20. Did you see O'Neal get soaked and not even flinch! That was the most entertaining thing I've seen from the cubs in weeks. Yeah. Great stuff. He didn't move an inch. Just took the soaking.
  21. No kidding? Yeah. Both Len and Bob commented on it. They said they've never seen that before from Maddux (at least not on camera).
  22. Wow. Maddux is pissed. Just took a bat to a water cooler.
  23. HAHA. Anyone else hear the "Maddux, you're getting shelled" scream from the stands? Good stuff. This team is so bad it's funny.
  24. HAHAHAHAHAHA. 3-run homer for Borchard. Cubs losing 6-3 now. This is just funny stuff at this point.
  25. Cabrera coming up. Weeeeee. Luckily 1st base is open.
