  1. Arizona w/ the interception as soon as I turn on the game. Beautiful. :D
  2. How much is Cal down by? 4. It's on ABC. thanks.
  3. How much is Cal down by?
  4. Of course. Nice blocking by South Carolina line. 3 blocks in one game. WTG.
  5. South Carolina is just killing themselves with stupid mistakes.
  6. Florida is only rushing 2 men for some reason. SC is at the 50 yard line only down by 1 point with 1:20 left in the game.
  7. South Carolina with a TD, but the extra point is blocked. They're up 6 points on Florida with about 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
  8. 8 hours until I start looking to score some heroin.
  9. Georgia is now winning 30-7 over Auburn.
  10. Trading for a 38-year-old slugger with a big mouth who's also known to have been on steroids (trading one of your top prospects in the deal), and then signing him to a 2-year extension should probably be considered as dumb. Isn't it sad that as fans of one of the worst teams in the last 100 years, we are calling another team's trade dumb. Especially considering it is a team that just went to the World Series. The one thing about the Tigers is that they are not afraid to take a risk and get the players they want. They took risks on Maggs, Pudge and the Gambler and those turned out okay for them. I'm also not sure how much more pitching they are going to need next year. So why not trade from a position that you are overloaded with and get something you need? This move tells me that they are trying to win the World Series next year. Not a bad objective. I really don't have a problem with them trading for Sheffield. The part that I find dumb is them signing him to a 2-year extension. Shef is 38 with a history of injury problems. The Tigers will now have him for 3 years.

  12. Talk about crazy coincidences:
  13. Goes until midnight tonight. After that all teams can negotiate with him.
  14. the resolution of our two opinions is obviously to let me come with you. i'll shoot up as you knock. sounds good to me. Once again the dilemma comes up on how you're going to shoot up twice...
  15. What were the points? I think the best one is that the Big East beat had one OOC win over a team in the top half of its conference - that being Maryland. Gosh, now I'm watching Lou Holtz on SportsCenter. I swear, his ability to speak is diminishing every passing day. How many does the Big 10/11 have? 2? Wow...that's so much more impressive. How many do the 12 teams in the SEC have? The Big 12? who knows, I don't have a research staff Tennessee beat Cal. No one from the Big 12 has done it but Lee omitted that. I just don't understand why so many people are threatened by the Big East. It's a very talented balanced conference not the best but not the worst either. I just don't understand why other conferences don't get scrutinized as much, do you know? It's all the I-AA opponents. By and large they play a schedule similar to the C-USA or the MAC and still get consideration for the NC game. I'm not sure how Louisville, WVU, or Rutgers would fare in the Big 10 or SEC. They may be middle of the pack ACC or Big 12 teams. What part of Miami and Kansas St do you think is in the the MAC....really? Those are teams Louisville played. Ohio State doesn't even have to play Wisconsin...that's a joke. Syracuse which hasn't won a Big East game in 2 years went to OT with Iowa and beat Illinois. Rutgers beat Illinois 33-0 while THE Ohio State beats them 17-10? Try looking at facts or does that scare you? Wait, do you really think Ohio State wouldn't beat a Rutgers/WVU/Louisville? Just because Ohio State only beat Illinois by 7 doesn't mean that Rutgers is a better team.
  16. Instead of jabbing myself with heroin in the forehead like Tree wants to do, I think I'll go to Hendry's and MacPhail's houses and jab them in the forehead instead. Hendry for not getting this deal done yet and MacPhail for being stupid enough to give Ramirez an opt-out clause. :x
  17. Would he even know? I'd have to say he'd probably know more than Buster Olney, considering Matsuzaka is his agent. uh, i think you got that backwards
  18. Would he even know? I'd have to say he'd probably know more than Buster Olney, considering he is Matsuzaka's agent.
  19. Scott Boras was on XM radio a little while ago and said the Red Sox/Matsuzaka rumors were false. Don't know how much you can believe him though.
  20. I've got to say, I'm getting awfully nervous about not getting Aram back. :x
  21. Geez. Still nothing? It's 10:00 pm over in Japan right now. Guess we have to wait until Monday now? :x
