Yes. This. Dear Mr. Roberts, I hope you didn't take it personally when I said on page 43 that you were only a marginal upgrade over Mark DeRosa. I was only thinking in terms of what it took to trade for you. We had to give up some good prospects to get you. I hope you have no hard feelings, and that you realize that I will come to love you just like I do all other Cubs' players before you (save for Latroy Hawkins, Antonio Alfonseca, Todd Hundley, and a few others). I don't know who to root for in the Giants/Cowboys game. I don't want the Giants to win because I love watching Eli Manning whine like a little girl, but I don't want the Cowboys to win either because I'm sick of seeing Vance's onslaught of pictures after a victory. I guess I'm hoping that both teams kill each other.

Iowa beat Michigan State tonight. Final score was 43-36. Michigan State only scored 18 points each half. :lol:

Momentum has definitely swung to NE after the fast start by the Jaguars.

Stoney is an idiot. Eckstein signed with the Jays a while ago. The Cubs would have to trade for him at the trading deadline at the earliest.

Agreed. I don't think we overpaid that much. I do wonder what happens to our pitching though. It's a little rough giving up 2 guys who could have possibly been our 5th starter this season.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm upset about giving up Cedeno. I hate the fact that The Riot is our SS full-time with no backup at all. Cedeno was still young and could have figured things out at the major league level. I'll miss Gallagher, but I'm not too upset about giving up Marshall.

Ugh. This thread is terrible. We've been talking about the same crap for weeks now. The deal either needs to happen now or it needs to come out that the O's and Cubs hit a snag or something. I'm tired of hearing about this. This offseason is too slow.

man if we are ever gonna beat michigan, this is the year. psu should actually be better than michigan overall. Michigan will have a bunch of talent, but they're going to be awfully young. You're still Penn State though, so I'm not too worried about winning that game.
