    Part of me likes the idea of getting rid of Z because of possible injury or arm fatigue causing these early problems. As a Cubs fan, I hope that he dominates in four days and from there on out, but as a fantasy owner I'm not so sure.

    OK so I am unsure what I should do with a trade proposal that I have in one of my leagues. I have a pretty solid team but its heavy on OF talent. And while Chavez is doing good right now, I'd like to upgrade 3b. So I offered a guy who had extra 3bs and an apparent man-crush on Vlad, Vlad and Big Z (before yesterday's suckage) for Miguel Cabrera and C.C. Sabathia. He countered with Aramis and C.C. for Vlad and Z. What do you guys think?

    Just to clear up some possible confussion... wasn't Pie a September call-up in 2006? So this wouldn't be his official debut. Or am I wrong?

    I think it just means that they no longer believe a 12 man pitching staff is a good idea with the possibility of players getting dinged up in this cold weather. But you are right with Aramis... if he's going to be out too much longer he'll be put on the DL retroactively.

    Is it me or are those scoring criteria very heavily weighted in favor of starting pitchers to the point where they should almost be your first five picks or so?

    But isn't all this talk of the value of the land that Wrigley is on and the thoughts of not using it as the Cubs home kind of forgetting that the reason that land is value and the reason all of the surrounding establishments are there in WRIGLEYville because of Wrigley and that the Cubs play there? Sure, its a great neighborhood in that area but could the area really support all of those businesses if the Cubs weren't playing there? If the answer is no, the value of the land that Wrigley is on is not as high as they are talking about and anyone would be foolish to use the land for anything other than a baseball field.

    Would 4 ET on a Sunday work for both GR and Erik? Anytime on a Sunday works for me... I just want to help CT get a time everyone can make. And good news, we're up to 5... 3 more and its a legitimate league... hopefully 5 more.

    Does anyone still have Hendry's fax number so that the questions go to the right person? An aside, why are we so concerned about sending him down to the minors and the waiver process? To me, It seems pretty clear that to avoid that process the Cubs could just DL him and have him pitch on a rehab assignment down there. In one of Carrie's recent pieces on cubs.com it seemed that she was planting the seed for the Cubs to make this move.

    Explaining to my g/f that I can't hang out with her on a Saturday night b/c I have a fantasy baseball draft won't go over too well. I'd rather do it either during the day on a weekend or in the evening during the week. p.s. I'm the Tek Jansen team in case anyone was curious.

    Can someone let me know if the dugout seats show up as sold out on 5/5 if they happen to check? My g/f has the 11am slot and that's the only game we are interested in getting. Thanks.
