Okay. And if there were a type of vegetable knife where a known, significant percentage of users will slip and slice open their fingers, wouldn't you want the government to step in? If the government wants to step in and say that knife manufacturers need to make known upfront that such a percentage exists, and they want to regulate when and where knives can be purchased, and they want to regulate where vegetables can be cut using said knives and how old you have to be to cut them, that's fine. If the percentage is severe enough, they can go so far as to require knife manufacturers to use a certain portion of their profits to make available to their customers resources and methods they can use to reduce or eliminate the use of knives in their lives if they have trouble doing so by themselves. However, I don't want them using that percentage as justification to force me to choose between chopping an onion with a spork and making chili with no onions.
