    Considering how badly his control disappeared and that Lilly went 8 yesterday, I'm not terribly surprised. I really hope Marquis gets deeper into the game though, because Z is going tomorrow. Seems like Lou has used that as an effective motivational tool a couple of times. Could be wrong, but I don't think they would have yanked Marquis there considering how well he's pitched otherwise. He was getting pretty deep into the counts his last few batters, then he gives up the homerun and spikes a sinker. I don't think Lou would have let him out of the inning if he issued two more free passes before recording an out. I think he was on the brink of a collosal collapse - hopefully he settles down now that he got out of it.
