  1. Yea, I was full of bad decisions today. Bears D over 49ers D cost me 9 points. (49ers was clearly the more favorable matchup.) White over Bennett cost me 7 points. (Seriously? I sat White?) In my other league, I dropped Gaffney to start Harry Douglas. Cost me 12 points. I don't blame myself for starting Brandon Marshall over Nate Washington, but that cost me 32 points. I also had Sidney Rice on the bench, who outscored both guys I started. If LeSean McCoy + Eli Manning = Steven Gostkowski + 26, then I'm off the hook for those first two decisions. My bad about being illiterate on your QB situation. I probably would have said coin toss between Moore and Bradford. EDIT - Oh yea, I also dropped Mike Williams for Julio Jones.
  2. 5 Dolphins have receptions already, and none of the are Brandon Marshall. Is he playing?
  3. I'm getting cold feet about sitting Roddy White. My opponent is starting Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. Should this have any impact either way on my consideration of starting Laurent Robinson (last 3 games: 13 rec/208yds/4td/44 fantasy pts)? Miles Austin has been ruled out. Roddy White has only scored less than six points once, but he has also only scored more than 11 points once. How bad of an idea is it to start Earl Bennett (15 and 8 points in 2 games since coming back from injury) over White? Need 2: White Bennett Robinson
  4. I wouldn't let matchups talk you into starting Williams. Desperation only. (Yes, I'm butthurt about drafting him.) Go Stafford. With Best out, and with the code seeming to be cracked on covering Johnson (ETA - cracked enough to keep him from being the only weapon necessary to win a game), there's not as good of a chance that he puts up big numbers, but at least he won't have to deal with Soldier Field's wind anymore. I'm almost positive that one or two of the remaining options you have will outscore Stafford, but predicting which one is impossible. Without hindsight, I think you have to go Stafford.
  5. MJD and Bennett. I'm pretty sour on Mike Williams. Considering his chances this season and the scope of how he has underperformed, I would only start him if a string of injuries put me in severe desperation. Even if he has a monster week this week (yea right), I can't imagine wanting to start him the week after.
  6. Roddy White, Steve Johnson, and Mike Williams (TB) are plain awful. I was able to land Earl Bennett and Laurent Robinson on the waiver wire. Gonna start those two and sit the others. Need 1: Bears D vs SD 49ers D vs Ari
  7. Started Steve Johnson and Frank Gore (flex), with Laurent Robinson and Earl Bennett on the bench. Dammit. If Rodgers, Jennings, and Longwell combine for more than 40 points tomorrow night (they will), then I will lose my game despite posting the 2nd-highest point total and with the highest-scoring bench.
  8. :puke: Monday Night is pretty much the only clear-cut prediction on the list imo, but there are some real turds on the bill for this weekend. EDIT - I guess Baltimore is a pretty easy pick too.
  9. After the last play of the game last night, Roethlisberger's yard total was up to 365, and he had 22 points. Today, his yard total is at 330 and his point total is down to 16. Did they take away a touchdown pass and call it a backward lateral or something? I didn't get to watch most of the game prior to the last 5 minutes or so.
  10. Missed the question before gametime, but the answer is, NEVER start a Washington back unless your only other options aren't playing or are WAY buried on the depth chart. I hope you didn't start him. Also, I'm getting seriously sick of Mike Williams, Tampa version. I'm also a Roddy White owner pissed to see Julio Jones healthy again. My WR situation is pathetic. Nate F. Washington is my most reliable play.
  11. Yea, trusting people who play for Tennessee isn't a very good policy.
  12. Weird to pick any two of RB, RB, TE, WR to fill a roster. Starks and a coin toss between Ringer and Ballard. With Nicks likely out, that's a lot of targets to get spread out among the other starters.
  13. If he works a night shift, this is the prime time of day for drinking. Been down that road for most of my adult life.
  14. That's the way I'm leaning. I just hope the Saints offense figures things out quickly enough to not give Blount the opportunity for a big welcome back party. I'm not sure how I feel about my QB situation either. Rivers (home, v GB) Eli (@ NE) Both will be forced to put up big numbers in order to win, and I could very easily see either one of them responding with a bunch of turnovers and a mediocre day. Eli's the hot hand, and the Patriots D is more vulnerable, but they're also not the same threat to put up monster numbers and force a shootout, the way Rodgers will almost definitely do in SD.
  15. Sanchez. Steve Johnson (v NYJ, Revis Island) Mike Williams (Tampa version, @ NO)
  16. Objectively I feel like it's a tossup, and went with Bush because McFadden ruled out is better than the possibility of Felix Jones playing. But I'm on the Murray bandwagon right now. Removing the 91-yd touchdown from his stats, he's still over 7 ypc the last two games. Seattle won't explode on offense and force Dallas to pass all day, which is the only way Philly was able to keep Murray from putting up 120+, imo. Seattle will be the first quality run defense Murray faces as a full-time back, so it could be a bit of a gamble though. Bush is a quality back who has just been buried behind a stud.
  17. He was blocking the aisle and Albert Belle threw a forearm to get by.
  18. He meant Michael Bush, backing up McFadden who's fighting a foot injury.
  19. Bush Houston
  20. Team 1: Demarco Murray or Mike Williams (TB)? Team 2: Need two of Murray Daniel Thomas Sydney Rice Jackie Battle
  21. Battle. Sit Holmes.
  22. My opponent this week (8 team league) has the following players on his team: Ben Roethlisberger Ray Rice Steven Jackson Fred Jackson Michael Turner Calvin Johnson Jeremy Maclin Pierre Garcon Jimmy Graham Should he be required to start Megatron on his bye week, just to make it interesting? How does he pick a RB to sit? Should I just bench my whole roster?
  23. I wasn't able to friend nsbb on facebook. Shouldn't I be able to? Maybe I'm just facebook illiterate.
  24. I'm starting Eli over Rivers today. Rivers has been sorely disappointing this year.
