  1. Remember, earlier in the season? Pete and Busch were bad, and everybody else was hitting. That's how it goes, sometimes.😁
  2. I just checked the Dansby's HR, because the LA looked very steep. xBA was .030.😁 I'll take that all day.
  3. The Cubs had the 4th highest wRC+ with RISP last year.
  4. Yeah, to me, Maton has been this year's Pressly, except he has a two year contract, which really sucks. At least, he got rid of Pressly and Neris in the middle of the season. I don't think he'd do that for Maton, although I think he should. The Cubs pen depends on luck. We need another guy like 2024 version of Porter Hodge, last year's Keller, Pomeranz, Thielbar....,.
  5. Yeah, 100%. For the money, Bregman should be one of the best hitters, if not the best. I'm still OK with Cabrera, because I didn't have high expectation. But, Maton and Harvey are totally useless. The cheaper pen guys like Webb and Rolison have been so much better.
  6. That's his signature hit. It's just PCA's leadoff HR and a wild pitch. Pretty pathetic. I mean Cabrera wasn't good, but the offense was way more frustrating to me.
  7. Miggy should get more playing time. He deserves it, especially, when Shota starts.😁
  8. Happ has been hitting too many infield groundballs lately.
  9. It happens, if you play the guitar too much.. Happened to me more than a few times.
  10. My dream didn't come true. After easy 2 outs, I really wanted to see Maton gets a clean inning.
  11. Even with all the injuries, if they can hit with RISP a little better, they should be about 8 games above .500 now. And, pretty much all the position players are healthy.
  12. TBH, after watching every ST game, I didn't have that much expectation on Cabrera. I thought I'd be happy, if he's our #3 (of course, with Horton and Boyd healthy). I thought Shota was going to be better.
  13. I don't remember who, but somebody mentioned the Cubs offense started sucking more, after Nicky Lopez left the team. He's supposed to be a very funny guy, and that helped the team. I don't know if it's true, but the timing matches.
