  1. The NFL network is doing about a 10 minute long look back at the 1983 Draft...wtf The Bears are on the board and they go to commercial AGAIN.
  2. probably not but Jerry Angelo LOVES his middle and late round picks.
  3. I guess they want to move Antrel Rolle back to corner.
  4. touch of death. they are going in the next two picks.
  5. THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR NOT LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY.
  6. but rashad johnson is still on the board with 9 picks to go.
  7. "He's the ultimate wildcat QB" Between the Parcells love, the Cowboys love, and the Patriots love I am going crazy listening to this draft.
  8. Not according to the NFL Network.
  9. Stop talking about WRs.
  10. Thanks, that's what I thought.
  11. Can you trade compensatory picks? There's another WR.
  12. Not to kill your buzz but they took away the tag on Leroy Hill, he's a free agent now. Also the cowboys can blow me. I hate them and the network's constant coverage of them. They said almost nothing about the Bears.
  13. THAT'S SCARY. MY TEAM IS THINKING LIKE AL DAVIS. Also the NFL network must have gotten some really bad info then cause they said that he was supposed to go somewhere around the 6th or 7th round.
  14. the same reason you don't hold the english premier league championship in new york city. sure, you COULD do it, but it's pointless when the majority of the people in the country don't care about the sport. This.
  15. people don't have 2nd round picks anymore unless they get a delorean.
  16. Remember what happened with Briggs during his last year in Chicago before his contract expired? That is what is going to happen with Boldin. They have the same agent, they are using the same tactics, and they are going to have same result. When training camp comes around he is probably going to hold out (who cares, cuts down on wear and tear anyways) and when the season starts he is going to play cause he and his agent want their money. Boldin doesn't have anywhere near the personality of Chad Johnson and even when he was complaining about his contract during the season last year he wasn't doing so in a way that was creating a distraction.
  17. I still maintain a straight up trade of Tommie Harris for Anquan Bolden is the best way to go in trades. The Bears get their reciever, and the Cards get an impact DLine who hasn't reached his prime. You mean an unstable, inconsistent, injury prone DT that is already making a ton of money?
  18. There is no way that the Cardinals are going to take what equates to 2 3rd rounders for Boldin. If that was all they wanted he would have been gone a long time ago.
  19. I really don't think that Arizona was intending on Boldin going anywhere unless they were wowed by what they received in return. They think that they believe (rightfully so) that they have a very solid chance to be in the super bowl again this year and Anquan is a large part of the reason why. Their window, with the team that they have right now, is very small due to Warner being old so they are probably fine with pissing off Boldin and having him underpaid to get another shot at a championship. If they get to the Super Bowl again and lose Boldin to free agency without getting anything for him the Cardinals with be overjoyed. Doesn't he have 2 years left on his deal anyways?
  20. Outside of the fact that it's a completely [expletive] idea? Yes. Explain *why* the location of the game matters to the people watching on TV to the degree that they'd get angry about it. Those comments were taken from a message board or commenting on an article. Either way those people probably wouldn't follow through with anything they said and are most likely not as upset as they are saying. Also they are probably the same people that run around saying don't mess with texas and unintelligent things like that. I doubt any of them are organizing a lynch mob to go attack goddell. That being said, I can understand why people don't want the game to be held in London and know that there is no way it is ever going to happen. I am pretty sure that you are drastically overestimating how upset people are and how far they are willing to go to protest it happening. Although there were a bunch of people all across the country having "tea parties" last week so I am probably wrong.
  21. Link Hmm....Angelo may feel the deal is dead but I read that as there is still a possibility that something could happen. It's trickier now without a 2nd rd pick, but perhaps something could still happen. I'm not holding my breathe, but I didn't see a flat out "deal is dead" definitive statement... Nah at this point they are just going to use the picks and stock up on players. As nice as it would be to have Boldin they need to fill a bunch of holes. They need a WR, DT, and safety in terms of starters but it would be nice to have another corner, OL, DE, and LB to add depth to the roster and try to fill in for people for the year after next.
  22. Yeah, I just read his profile and he sounds like a perfect match. At the same time, I would think that they would want to go receiver with that first pick before they hit the bottom of the barrel
  23. Outside of the fact that it's a completely [expletive] idea?
  24. Falcons for willy mo.
