  1. Post them here so you will know who you can keep next year. Yahoo deletes the leagues sometime in the early summer. midway monsters J. Delhomme (Car - QB) S. Smith (Car - WR) T. Holt (StL - WR) L. Johnson (KC - RB) R. Moats (Phi - RB) B. Troupe (Ten - TE) Ji. Smith (Jac - WR) M. Anderson (Den - RB) E. James (Ind - RB) D. Foster (Car - RB) R. Wayne(Ind - WR) J. Bettis (Pit - RB) P. Holmes (KC - RB) S. Graham (Cin - K) Jacksonville (Jac - DEF)
  2. I agree with you there. :D
  3. I would just like to point out that Dee has been pretty off with his shot most of the year. He is still transitioning back to being a point guard after Deron took care of that most of last year. Give him a little more time and he will be back to his old self. Also, I would count Augustine in the really good player catagory.
  4. Welcome to the same plane as powerhouses Sam Houston State and Davidson. I can't wait til next year when we actually have a coach with an offense. Did they beat Mizzou by 32? Cause that would make me think Quinn is an even worse coach than I already did (didn't think that was possible).
  5. Desmond Clark? Marcedes would look good in a Bears uni (too bad he'll long be gone by the time the Bears draft). Of course he'll be gone by the last pick.
  6. btw, that braggin rights game was quite enjoyable.
  7. wow. congrats to those guys. Kruetz shouldn't be listed and Wale should be. kreutz is the best center in the NFL, and there's not even a question about it anymore. Personally, I think the OL Pro Bowl selections are based entirely on reputation. I was probably overreaching with my statement but I'd still take Kevin Mawae over Kruetz. Olin had a terrible season in '04 and definitely didn't deserve to make it. This year, I think its as much lack of other pro bowl caliber C in the NFC than Kruetz's great season. I wouldn't take Mawae over Olin. He has been out for large portions of the last two years and is getting kinda old.
  8. They should take out Kansas again this year. :D
  9. Desmond Clark? Worst group of TEs ever, if he's considered to be in the top 3rd of NFC TEs. Hm...Crumpler and Shockey made it. I would say LJ Smith, Witten, Cooley, Stevens, Pollard, and Wiggins ahead of him. Pretty bad if he is actually the 3rd alternate. NFC has a good crop of tight ends.
  10. I would hardly call tank and ian scott weak links. Tank has 4 sacks this year while only playing 20-25% of the snaps. Also keep in mind that it is only his second year and he has had to work his way into playing time. Boone also has 1.5 sacks. The amount of production we have gotten from our 4 DTs this year is really good.
  11. You guys also have to consider what other players are at the position. The only ones in the NFC that I would put over Brown at safety are Sean Taylor, Roy Williams, and Brian Dawkins (and apparently Taylor is only a 2nd alternate for some reason...). Of those, Sean and Brian are free safeties. Roy is going to be the starting strong safety and Mike Brown is going to be the backup. On another note, Bernard Berrian won special teams player of the week... link
  12. I'm a Bears fan, but I gotta tell you it was painful to watch Favre and GB on Monday night against the Ravens. I kinda enjoyed it. *shrug*
  13. If the Bears win this game, they have the division. If they win and get losses from the Giants and the Panthers, they get a first round bye. Lots on stake this weekend. Hopefully it goes as it should.
  14. We can't compete with you. We only have one DUI/felony hit-and-run, though he's one of the best kickers in the country and now we're going to struggle to make a FG over 30 yards. What you lack in quantity, you make up for in quality.
  15. Rotoworld I didn't feel like reading this whole thread but that has always been the concern with Renyel. He has always had the stuff but it was just a matter of him finding a way to command it. This isn't some newfound insight that just came up.
  16. Some injury updates from espn 1000. Apparently Mike Brown came in really early on Friday and pleaded with Lovie to let him play in the game on Sunday. Because of the conditions and the fact they didn't want to risk a longer injury, the held him out. Mike should be back in the game at Lambeau and be close to full strength. Chris Harris, Cedric Benson, and Todd Johnson should also be close to coming back this week. Hunter will probably be out another week or two. The Bears aren't really that worried though because they really liked what they saw in Leon Joe. They are not sure about Metcalf yet. He may play this week but he might also sit out. Last week he his injury got worse as the week went on so it will depend on how he practices.
  17. The question is, what would we have to trade to get Daunte? A first and another pick? No thanks. A first and a major player on our defense? No thanks. Remember, he won't be able to play until at least the middle of next season.
  18. That's for sure. He was a little more hesitant to make this change, but when push came to shove, he made it. I think he gave Orton every chance to keep the job. I think Lovie played this about as good as one could have. Indeed. I think one thing to take into consideration is how healthy Rex truly was before today. I think that if he was in better condition, Kyle might have gotten the hook in a quicker fashion.
  19. Is it just me or was he limping a bit on the sideline?
  20. DAAAAAA BEARS!!!
  21. And Macias is hitting .375... 3 for 8, huh? 11 pitches. Ahhh yes, that's the Jose I have grown to hate.
  22. As is your post count. I call it both pop and soda.
  23. Not anymore. :P
  24. Also, if Felix Hernandez can stay healthy this year he would be added to the top of that list.
