  1. Given time, Shaw will prove that we had the answer at 3B all along.
  2. 2x Selke winner and great on draws. Great guy to bring in.
  3. I don't know what that says about us. 😄
  4. I have come around on Blashill and I'm down.
  5. I agree with this. This could play out similarly to 2006 where the Hawks get the best forward prospect at #3 if the Islanders shake things up and go Hagens at #1.
  6. Two thoughts. The coaching pool is pretty barren. Blashill doesn't move the needle much, but I'm coming around to the idea that he's the best available option and better than running a retread like Tortorella. He's also someone that you can dismiss if the guy you really want comes available, ala Rick Renteria. My other thought, Anton Frondell should absolutely be the pick at #3 if the first two picks for Scheafer and Misa.
  7. 5 more runs and I’ll feel good about turning this one over to the pen.
  8. Our old friend Aroldis Chapman is having a career resurgence. He notched his 7th save of the season tonight against the Mets and is a perfect 7 of 7 on the season.
  9. I have zero faith in this pen to close out a 1-run game.
  10. They need more talent, yes, but this is also a pretty pivotal year in the rebuild. Worst case scenario at the end of 2025-26 needs to be “this is a playoff team next season.”
  11. I feel for Nicky Lopez. His next stop will be his third of 2025. Fourth if you count the Cubs twice.
  12. The hair narrowed the options for me and I believe I have it. This is Dan Haren.
  13. 3 of the 4 teams from last year’s conference finals are back.
