  1. The HR came in the 8th. Chapman came back out to work a scoreless 9th pretty much pitching on fumes.
  2. I can't see them bringing in a 5th outfielder or preferring one over the positional versatility of Bruján whether we agree with it or not.
  3. Girardi deserves to precede Sutcliffe even if both are on the butt end of the alligators.
  4. There’s a considerable difference in backend talent and it showed in G3. I just can’t see Edmonton winning this series.
  5. Didn’t get the out but that effort by Shaw is outstanding.
  6. Shaw’s defense has been one of the biggest surprises for me this season. I did not expect him to handle the hot corner so well this quickly.
  7. The Phillies are atrocious in the field. BABIP will be our friend this series.
  8. You got to let Nico vent a little there. He wasn't out of line. He didn't try to upstage anybody. And it's Nico! He isn't a guy who makes a habit of abusing umpires. Just a pathetic display by blue.
  9. Nothing there looked even remotely close to warranting an ejection.
  10. I have the Cubs on the big screen and the men's final on the small screen.
  11. I will watch anything Sly is in. My favorite actor going back to my childhood. Nighthawks doesn’t get enough love.
  12. Well this aged like milk.
  13. Well, he is 64 and never was blessed with Mike Ricci good looks.
  14. Huge comeback win for the Oilers!
  15. My best guess is Jonathan Villar.
  16. On this day in 2007.
  17. He’s honestly fortunate that losing Broberg and Holloway didn’t impact them at all.
  18. My gut says Florida, but I hope you’re right.
  19. I have done my share of criticizing Hoyer, but it’s wild to me that anyone can watch this Cubs team, built entirely under his watch, and say that he hasn’t done “pretty good.” That isn't even a glowing endorsement. Which team in the NL Central would you guys want to swap rosters with?
