  1. To add to the lore of the Narcoleptic Sharpe (as if anyone cares) he was shot in the stomach with "a tiny bullet" before arriving at UAB but denied that he was shot and tried to hide the wound from police and paramedics. Chalmers is a heck of a pick for Minnesota there. And finally Jordan goes off the board to the Clippers.
  2. WTH, Walter Sharpe? Ford says he struggled with grades and narcolepsy at Mississippi State. Awesome. We had a definite need for someone diagnosed with narcolepsy who has played 18 games over the last 3 years. Says he's an explosive leaper, good mid-range shooter and good ball handler with upside.
  3. Where'd you hear this? It's on Chad Ford's blog on ESPN. Bucher just reported it. They still can pick from Jordan, Chalmers, CDR. Maybe he wanted to go to the 2nd to grab Jawai or Tomic.
  4. Okay scratch that. The Pistons are trading D.J. to the Sonics for picks 32 and 46. They may still be able to grab Jordan there at an even lower cost.
  5. Exactly. He might have a little more polish but I don't see how it fits other than it fits the mold of the type of guy Joe always likes (outside of Darko).
  6. Seriously Joe? I like D.J. but Jordan has too much potential to pass on at 29 with our needs. Even Chalmers would have been great value to go along with Stuckey after a Billups trade.
  7. And the Blazers land Arthur. They're going to be so deep it's scary. I don't even like DeAndre Jordan that much but he's too good for the Pistons to pass on at 29.
  8. Wow everyone was saying no one would draft him until the 2nd round because of his contract. Only 3 picks until the Pistons and Jordan, Arthur, CDR are still available.
  9. Bird would ask for Josh McRoberts.
  10. Charlotte is going to luck into Arthur. Although I could see MJ liking Jordan and then laugh when Larry Brown loses his mind.
  11. Even with a trade Jackson has praise for everyone.
  12. The first of the 6 that the Pistons are targeting is gone. Reportedly it's Hickson, Ibeka, CDR, D.J. White, Dorsey (puke) and McGee.
  13. NBADraft.net has them taking George Hill, an Indiana native. http://www.nbadraft.net/admincp/profiles/georgehill.html But obviously someone will have a better answer than me. i have zero idea who that is, but thanks. Went to IUPUI. Got a lot of love during the year from sites like basketball prospectus for being ridiculously efficient and productive. Looks like a man without a position in the NBA.
  14. Holy S, I would have taken Hibbert or Robin over Thompson.
  15. Disappointed with the lack of trades. Hibbert to the Kings?
  16. That works out really well for Indiana. Insurance in case Ford goes down and if not, Bayless doesn't have to be the full-time point. Now who will take Tinsley?
  17. Yep Stu, no one would have noticed if Robin went up instead of Brook.
  18. Kiki loves the Lopez twins.
  19. I just flipped on Gottlieb and Lavin on ESPN Radio. They know these guys better than Van Gundy/Jackson and are being more frank.
  20. Wow, didn't expect that. I think he's a pure point and can score, it's just whether or not he can defend at all. Kiki has to be freaking out that he's getting Brook Lopez.
  21. Same here. I didn't really think anything of him until he turned into an absolute stud down the stretch and in the Big East Tournament. Good fit for Skiles though.
  22. Because they don't know anything about him and they've been terrible with drafting Europeans. There are also some big names available that the fans would like. Gotta be Alexander here.
  23. Gordon was Mr. Basketball in Illinois.
  24. Shockingly, Fran loves Gallinari. Has there ever been a first round European that he didn't like?
  25. I like him more than Jarryd Bayless if you're looking for a PG. Like I said though I think if they could have found a way to get Mayo...
