    No, if he gets out, Marshall will probably be allowed to hit, if he gets on, then Marshall will be pinch hit for. I'd think if he gets on, Marshall bunts him over. And waste an out, making it two outs and needing a hit to get him in? that doesn't work. I'm not saying that I would do that but the Cubs would.

    He hit .253 last year with the Dodgers, so I think its reasonable to assume he would be capable of that again. Besides, his OBP is his key number.

    Why's that? I thought they were some of the most articulate baseball-loving folks to ever grace the booth, and was glad the Cubbies cooperated by having a long 1/2 of an inning. I thoroughly enjoyed their time in the booth, if we have to have anyone there. Heck, I wouldn't mind the grandson take over as play-by-play announcer over some of our more recent (not Len) guys. I'm not a fan of the 7th inning interviews no matter who it is. Ruth's daughter, while maybe a big fan of baseball, did not put out much of a coherent thought. Just talk about the game. Her son on the other hand, was fine and that's why I didn't comment on him.
