  1. And they gave the packers a terrible spot which was only reversed after a challenge. They have made bad calls on both sides. Yes but that call can be challenged. Obvious DB interference can't be. Even the announcers are basically saying they could be called but aren't and the seahawks just have to deal with it
  2. so an obvious facemask on 1st down and a hold on Burleson on 3rd down. I guess we know who the refs are going for
  3. i will be back to get killed again.
  4. So now there are posts complaining that Hendry is bored and not making enough moves? A move a day, would that be good? Sheesh, give the guy a break at least for a couple of hours. Perhaps the new 2008 NSBB contest should be how long someone can go without complaining about the GM
  5. I fell asleep in the middle of it. :( Probably cause the announcers lulled you too sleep. Talk about BORING!
  6. I loved the Seahawk's game. What a fun 4th quarter but the Seahawks offense was brutal in the 3rd. I don't care if you didn't like either team, the Seahawks defense was HUGELY fun to watch today
  7. Wouldn't Seattle play in GB in your Scenario and not Dallas?
  8. Go Seahawks! Time for all the rest Alexander got in season to be used in the post season! I love that I have been able to root for one of my team for several years now and actaully watch them in the playoffs!
  9. Really? 1 year after they won the WS? Seems strange. Not since Edison is bankrupt and exited after the rolling blackouts nearly did them in
  10. 1st thing is I need to understand who I can keep, how many points do you get to use on players and then decide on who to keep
  11. wow, talk about a glass is half full way to look at the Hendry Regime. Why ignore the positive? You make it out like the Cubs have been the worst team in baseball during Hendry's time. This is obviously not true and everything that you list would have likely happened with any other GM.
  12. what should I be doing?
  13. What does it say for Prior when Hendry gives deals to Dempster & Miller coming off injuries but not to Prior?
  14. can't they tender an offer and continue to negotiate?
  15. That depends on The Sweater Vest Kid. He never moves quickly on anything. I'll be convinced the owner is staying out of the way when MacPhail trades somebody like Roberts. But this is industry-wide. We were all led to believe that the environment for trades was going to be great at the winter meetings, and you saw what happened. Well, trading Will Ohman was pretty exciting. Trades are very, very difficult to pull off these days because of contracts and such. But the Cubs appeared to have laid the groundwork for possible deals. Like Hendry or not, he can get trade talks going with anybody, and it's usually not his fault the deal can't get closed. This is why I think Hendry has some great qualities as a GM that get overlooked. He is a good communicator and able to get talks going seemingly out of no where. His Free Agent classes can be scrutized but he trades are pretty good.
  16. That would have been Buster Olney who is better at stats then trade rumors. What would the Rangers give for Prior that would be worth anything? Wilkerson?
  17. Wow, Talk about an overstatement. I would like to see Tim Stauffer instead of LeBlanc
  18. Winn vs. Murton is not the right comparison as they are playing 2 different positions. Winn would be in CF and Murton in LF. Soriano/Winn/Murton is better then Soriano/Jones (or Pie)/Murton. Not only in OF production but also in the fact that Marquis is no longer in the rotation.
  19. If Kansas wins out, then there's no way both OU and LSU can go. One of them must be knocked out to a lesser BCS game because Kansas is a big conference undefeated team. If it plays out that way, of course. Big if. Kansas is barely in the top 5 in the bcs rankings. Even if they win out, voters will still discount them
  20. I don't follow your logic. If LSU gets beat in the NC game, then the SEC isn't presently the strongest conference? ok. I don't understand. My point was that national pundits continually say that the SEC is the strongest conference but the constantly ignore how strong the Pac 10 is. My point if Oregon was to beat LSU it would prove that the Pac 10 is the best conference
  21. U of O for the national championship. I would LOVE to see LSU/UO and watch the SEC get crushed to shut hup the people who say the SEC is the best football conference
