I'd be really mad if I were the Braves. Tommy Hanson and Jair Jurrjens isn't enough but Poreda and Richards are? I recall the Angels also offered Brandon Wood in a package. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Anaheim nix the deal because the Padres wanted Nick Adenhart too?

Man, Vizcaino and Gaudin would have helped our depth to make trades. I second the Dallas McPherson idea. He'd be cheaper to acquire than Atkins and could be Jack Cust for 8 weeks.

I was listening to a fantasy baseball podcast today. The host said that he "spoke with an MLB.com reporter close to the Cubs" who said that Soto's injury is more serious than the Cubs are letting on. The reporter also said not to expect 2008 numbers.
