  1. From the time I was 7 until I was 15 I wore number 23 -- Ryno's number. In the spring / summer of '92 I opted for #35 simply because of Big Frank. I continued wearing #35 in high school basketball because of him -- weird, I know.
  2. I can't see anything that suggests Thomas is anything other than a first ballot hall of famer. I hate the DH, but the man can / could rake.
  3. here's the google image for "Cindy Sandberg" http://www.mostmuscular.com/oktxbb/rr1999/Cindy%20Sandberg.jpg Hey, don't forget Rey Sanchez. I hear he was getting some action too. I think there could be something to the latin-esque mustache Ryno sported in '87 (see my avatar).
  4. You wanna know why Jose Lima is such a lucky man? Do a google image search for Melissa Lima. And Anna Benson while you're at it. did you google her? I don't mean a good wow. . . . i don't think the pic is of his wife.
  5. I met him twice --- once when I was 12. He politely told me that he had to go (with Sutcliffe) and would not be albe to sign my card. I was just happy to see the guy. I met him in the Albany Airport following the '05 HoF ceremonies. I asked him if I could get a quick photo or a signature and he said, "sure -- just let me put my stuff down." Before he could get turned around a crowd gathered around him. I got lost in the shuffle, but he was nice enough to tell them -- "wait, I have to sign something for that guy." He was cool -- asked where I was from, etc. Of course, there was that time at the chidren's hospital when he was roaming the halls and biting the heads off live chickens, but no one wants to talk about that.
  6. i've taken digital stills and digital video at wrigley --- no problems.
  7. hey, if you want to know why ryno really left Cindy, do a google image of "cindy sandberg" wow. . . . .
  8. He slept with my wife. I'm sure his wife started it.
  9. Damn, what's with the Sanberg hate?
  10. jesus, we can't even get rid of jones. all he had to do was be semi-decent, but noooooooooo.
  11. So we're kicking ass and taking names. i'm feeling the baseball groove. My plans were to play some MLB 07. FF to the Tulukoqitzki homer and I'm pissed. I hate baseball. HATE IT. Now, I want to play ball all night long. . . and laugh. . . I can't stop laughing!!!!!!!
  12. boy he knocked the hell out of that one. now we have to rely on mr. .150
  13. Well, Howry has settled down nicely. . .. . . . bwhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
  14. DeRosa, Pagan, Bowen, Howry's spot, Theriot, Soriano you have more confidence than I do.
  15. Get above .500, then we can talk.
  16. My favorite is how they both just got calm and casually claimed that this game was an easy "overturn" for the league. No problems.
  17. Felix and McHeisman will be fine. Even having Dick at QB is okay for the Hogs. They could have issues at both offensive and defensive tackle. However, they're biggest problem is the crap-for-brains coach that roams the sidelines and continually plays not to lose rather than playing to win.
  18. It was discussed in chat --- the umps actually got it wrong. When Pagan hit Uribe, it was interference. At that point, Pie should have been awarded home and Pagan should have been awarded 3rd. Should have been a run for the cubs, first and third with no one out.
  19. i have a horrible horrible horrible feeling about this. Maybe the cubs should have protested that bizarre play :)
