Stuff happens, the part that PO'd me was Swanson just gave up. I'm mean not terrible if you're between 1st and 2nd but if you're 40 ft from home plate you run the home and hope the throw hits you in the back or something.
The 9th inning Madrigal play....i give credit to the LF and De La Cruz for executing perfectly. But with Bellinger up next and 1 out you don't send Madrigal. Belli puts the ball in play and in the air. His flyball would have scored him.
I have no idea if the baserunning blunders are on the players, base coaches, Counsell, or what. Maybe a combo. And they don't seem to be learning. You make 1 mistake fine, but they keep happening.
