    Makes sense considering their strategy with Conrad last year. Personally, I always like the idea of going position player first and then loading up with arms the rest of the way with a couple high schoolers.

    Murakami has adapted to the MLB a lot better than I anticipated. I thought he would flop this year. Still concerned about that K-rate but he is a fun player to watch, I think the Sox should try and trade him and sell high but he's a fun story.

    Good for Conforto, man. He's dealt with some tough injuries over the years. We all thought he was cooked.

    I think Ramirez could play LF. He's athletic enough. I'm in the camp of keeping KA at least until the offseason. I see no reason to trade a prospect with his potential when we have two OF's hitting FA heading into 27. Let him spend the entire year in AAA again and have him get spot starts here and there with the big league team when someone inevitably has to miss a little time.

    I think he stays at AAA for the majority of the year with a couple callups mid and late year when a couple small injuries inevitably occur (hopefully not). This FO seems to really love getting their top guys a ton of AAA AB's which is a strategy I really like. Don't have any data backing that up but they traded for Busch who had close to 1000 AB's at AAA, Cassie had close to 1000 ABs as well and Alcantara is on track for that too as hes close 700 ABs there. Shaw is an outlier here as he was only around 250 ABs Wouldn't be surprised if they want Pedro on the same track.

    Yeah, id say im pretty optimistic about this season. We need to shore up pitching depth at the deadline and I think we will have the pieces in the minors to do it. Hopefully PCA gets going here and Busch gets back to normal and we have a pretty great offense imo.
