He's probably gonna get a hit here because baseball is cruel, but with Young coming up that send makes a lot of sense.

We know what kind of hitter Young is, he's been up before and he's been mid. We know how's he's fared at AAA over a large sample size. I will take the upside and talent the other young kids offer over a guy who has shown he's nothing special. Flukey one year wonders from old dudes who have seen AAA pitching over a number of years is pretty common.

A near 30 year old dude having a career year at AAA is a lot less likely to have any success at the major league level. Canario had a good game and was immediately benched. I think it's clear who should be playing.

I'd rather them get a better draft pick than watch them get swept in the playoffs. I'm just being real, of course I'd prefer to see them in the playoffs but they can't beat the rockies or pirates right now because of the state of their pitching staff. It might be surprising but teams in the playoffs are going to be more talented than the rockies.

Steeles arm is about to fall off and the bullpen is completely ineffective. You think this team can score 10+ each night against playoff teams? Or do you think getting slapped in the playoffs is a good experience for a team like this. Just take the better draft pick IMO

They wouldn't make it that far in the playoffs with their pitching in shambles anyway. Better to miss the postseason now IMO.

Would be funny if they got slammed by the pirates and rockies and then ended up beating up the Brewers and Braves. Probably won't happen tho

I dont think they are gassed aside from the bullpen guys that Ross overused. Think they are an average team with a below average manager and are performing to that end.

Canario benching is definitely gonna happen tomorrow. Then he'll be traded for a rental reliever to the Royals and then promptly hit 40 bombs for them. Velazquez and Soler being his predecessors.
