  1. Got to get these first two. Don’t want to face Marte with someone on.
  2. Guys, we’re 10-6 with a ton of injuries, the pen is cooked, and Hendricks is not good. There’s literally not many moves CC could make there. If you can’t bring in Little when he’s rested and the only lefty available to face Joc, then why is he on the roster?
  3. Hendricks is toast guys. Hate to see this happening to him
  4. We’re going to score some runs this game. Need Kyle to minimize the damage.
  5. Agree on the unlucky today, but this is what his 5th game in a row without a BB? I would attack him aggressively if I was an opposing team, but that’s just me.
  6. Rough day for Tauchman. Teams are going to start being aggressive with him and make him do something with that bat.
  7. The 6th will be tough for Brown. Would love for him to get through it.
  8. We can’t hit Miller’s 4 seamer at all
  9. Is this a last chance before DFA situation for Keegan?
  10. For the catcher it’s an actual inner ear piece. What I’m saying is, there is no difference between the catcher calling the pitch or the SP calling it - the communication is the same in the catchers ear.
  11. I believe the catchers can hear at all times through their ear piece, ideally to make sure they selected the correct button.
  12. It most likely has to due with Cease's splits. Lefties hit him much better.
  13. Both homeruns have came off his slider - both 85 mph and catching way too much of the plate. The pitcher in me knew after he came high and in with a fastball to Tatis that a breaking ball was coming next. Seemed like Tatis had the same thoughts and was sitting on it. Doubt you'll see much peripherally, but maybe he just needs to locate his breaking pitch better and rely on other pitches to get ahead to where he can throw the slider as more of a chase pitch out of the zone?
  14. You just knew that was coming after coming inside on him and seeing that reaction
