    they sound nice but there are news stories all over the place about how they don't really break down and are screwing up people's plumbing and city's sewer systems. scary!

    i never really thought about it, but i read something somewhere the other day about japanese toilets. it made that point that if someone was about to cook me dinner and said "hey, let me clean up first" and then wiped a paper towel on his hands and dug in, i'd flip out. so why am i cool with doing the same thing with a place that ACTIVELY HAS POO?
