  5. i am going to be really ashamed of how able to participate in the conversation i will be if we switch from saved by the bell to friends : (
  6. yeah, all that stuff is basically "here are some whoever bought the team would hopefully get several years from now, assuming he doesn't accidentally burn the team down." tom does not get credit for any of that.

  8. rizzo's numbers are nice now, but just wait till we get him a platoon partner and he doesn't have to face righties anymore
  9. sorry not every thread can be [expletive] saved by the bell

I fully expect Rizzo to still be our best hitter. Baez and Bryant aren't going to post above average rates in both walks and strikeouts to go along with their power like Rizzo can. our lineup is going to need to be deep, so deep, it puts the national league to sleep if we are going to have a great offense with rizzo as the best hitter.

almora doesn't draw any walks either. he can hit 7th. i want an obp monster hitting first. if i have to suffer through all these years of [expletive] garbage, i get to be a perfectionist when i imagine my perfect lineup at the other end of the tunnel.
  14. he did it for like 10 seconds in that episode where him and heidecker just deconstructed cbb for 45 minutes. that one was too much even for me.
  15. i am sad that we are giving one of the throwback games to stupid espn announcers instead of len and jd
  16. I'm assuming he woke up at some random girl's apartment and realize he was late to the game and that was his only clothing/method of transportation. scoot of shame

If he keeps getting on base 42% of the time he should definitely hit higher than that. yeah, if the walk rate pans out at all, i want him at two forever Castro-Rizzo-Baez-Bryant, 1-4. Mmmmmmm. i want the lineup to be so legit castro's .350 obp is hitting sixth

  19. I'd prefer it to being [expletive], but I wouldn't say I'd have zero problem with yearly agony. It take several years of that for me to start getting bothered by it. what we have now is yearly agony. years like 2008 were months and months of glory followed by a month of agony. let's do that again.
  20. well now you ruined scarey's whole point AKA THE ONE PERSON WHO LIKED YOU, DINGUS
  21. in 2003, i made myself a FREE HEE SEOP tshirt to protest his limited at bats. i had to stop wearing it because people on the street kept stopping me to ask about who this hee seop guy was and who was oppressing him, only to be deeply disappointed when i sheepishly replied that he was a baseball player that i wanted to see play more.
