    This is dumb logic, because by the time that contract is terrible, Schwarber will be starting and hitting 30 dongs a year for almost free so it won't matter if we're paying him $5M a year to catch once a week. Am I missing something? Why would we only be paying him 5M a year when he's going to get 15M annually? massive signing bonus maybe russell (and the players union) will get confused and he'll sign an nfl contract that reads 6/102 but is actually 2/10 and a bunch of horrifying team options

    In a very short period they lost Price, Friedman, and Maddon. Not to mention their park is a [expletive] hole. Gotta be a tough time to be a Rays fan after the last few years success. Yup that stadium is terrible, the only time I've been there was when the cubs played there a few years ago haven't been back. It's like a giant Highschool gymnasium, a terrible place to watch baseball. They could draw fans but not in that dump. if their fans can't be bothered to go watch a good team because the stadium is boring, they don't deserve a good team or a good stadium
