    i don't think walks will be an issue for him, he seems to be an aramis ramirez-type. won't take a ton of walks, but will put the ball in play effectively with consistency.

    17 walks this season after a career best, 22 last year in 170 more PAs. On pace for best SLG of his career. 2 straight months of sustained production in the .850-.900 OPS range, after not doing so since a 1/2 season in Peoria 3 years. I'm not on the "he's better than Jackson" boat like some seem to be, but those would be the reasons people are excited. plus he's doing this at AAA at the age of 22.

    i'm more pissed that we mistreated colvin last year (after he posted good numbers in 2010, OH MY GOD HE'S THE FLUKIEST PLAYER THAT EVER FLUKED AND CAN NEVER BE GOOD EVER) and then traded him for a guy who has sucked before he went on the 60-day and may never be able to grasp a bat again. his OPS is .916 this year, btw.

    i hate federer and i loathe nadal. i'm kind of sad i won't be able to see djokovic throttle both of them on his way to the title, although i look forward to seeing federer cry like a bitch when he is laid to waste.
