    why are you so intent in defending young? I'm not defending Young, I'm just looking at it from an objective perspective and Lee looks like the bad guy in this one. No he doesn't Lee was the first one to throw a punch. if there was nothing racial said, it's Lee's fault, plain and simple. Young hit him on purpose! You have to believe it considering what the Padres said in the paper yesterday. They threatened to bean someone. it's freakin baseball. beanballs are the way wrongs are settled in baseball. that is why the umps action in Atlanta blew the entire thing. they didn't let the players settle it the way players have settled if for the past 150 years. joe morgan everybody!

I want the Cubs to win, but I'm not watching the game with my Cubs blinders on. The visual evidence is pointing toward Lee starting the fight without any significant verbal provocation. if nothing was said, he was hit high and young was smirking at him--at the very least.

    I don't think we even need to go there at this point.. There's no evidence that anything racist was said. i wasn't the one who brought it up, i was just commenting on the speculation. besides, we CAN go there at this point, this is a message board, we can speculate about anything and it means nothing.

    Sulley just turned me on to him. I don't think I've ever been this in love in my life. I've downloaded everybit of El-P, Company Flo, Aesop Rock, etc etc I can find. The Overly Dramatic Truth might be the best song ever. I've always meant to download some of El-P's stuff. I just never remember when I actually am at home and can. T.O.J. is one of my top 15 songs ever. It's right up there with Cannibal Ox's "The F Word." Aes Rock is really hit or miss. I keep listening because the hits really hit. I forgot that Sully dug the Jux. He commented on my listing Patriotism as one of the songs that gave me goosebumps in that thread. So now I'm positive who to vote for. And yeah, the existence of stuff like this in multitudes is part of why it drives me crazy when people start blaming hiphop for everything. last year, my buddy fronted the cash to bring vast aire, yak ballz, 4th pyramid, and slow suicide stimulus to the abbey pub. the show was a major success and he got to hang around with those guys. i was impressed.

    Well he's the one pitching, he can really throw whatever he wants, but the smarter thing to do is, shaing him off til he gives you what you want. but that would take all night. throwing what he wants is dangerous, especially with barrett back there. Well the hope is that they have enough of a repoire to have a basic idea what to do with batters. oh, i know pitchers do it, but it's still hard.
