  1. malholm is not good, let's stop making him look that way.
  2. theriot not going the other way real well right now.
  3. i don't know about the decision to hit jones there. might as well, bat marquis.
  4. Like that lazy fly ball. no, the frozen rope about a foot foul.
  5. why don't we get double plays? why don't we get double plays?
  6. a baseball clubhouse is not really comparable to an office-setting. drinking in the clubhouse is not the problem, it's alcoholism in general. they might as well just ban drinking in general for all the good this will accomplish.
  7. Pagan? Dear God, I thought we were rid of him. Did Pie get sent down at least? yep.
  8. i didn't like the jones signing at first, but he's surprised me, and his discipline has been much better this season although his power hasn't been there. i have no real complaints about him. his k/bb is 13/9 in 123 TPA.
  9. i don't see the harm in having a beer in the locker room after a game. hancock was out at a bar drinking heavily, not in the clubhouse doing keg stands. this move is PR and it's stupid.
  10. i think that a pitcher we've signed to a sizeable three year deal is pretty much guaranteed to be on "a roster by all-star break", but that's just me. but anyway, you remind me of a sox fan. just be happy your team is leading the division. no need to critique ours. to tell you the truth, we're not all that concerned with our team being validated in the eyes of another team's fanbase, if you are, that's great. the brewers are off to a great start, kudos. Sorry I didn't mean Marquis would be off the cubs roster, the post was made for a fantasy forum and was just copy and pasted. I don't think Marquis will be worthy of being on a fantasy baseball roster come the all star break. Since they use smaller rosters that doesn't say much about whether he should be the #4 on a real roster. understood, and i wouldn't necessarily argue with that. but why are you so concerned about it? ah whatever, i have a lot of packer fan friends and they need something to get excited about, too.

  12. my thoughts exactly Wow, guys. I think that was easily the right move. With a runner on 2nd, you pitch to the guy with the smallest chance of getting a base hit. Bay's extra-base power means nothing in that spot. actually, an extra base hit would have assured a run, there, whereas a simple base hit did not.
