  1. Yea cheap shotting with helmets has a tendency to knock people out of the game for a play or 2. I'm almost positive I saw Briggs and Mike Brown have similar plays. They hit hard, but didn't lead with there helmuts. whoever cleaned Addai's clock lead with the helmet, didn't they? Yup nope. look again, briggs blew him up with his shoulder, no helmet contact whatsoever. i looked for that, because if i'm going to complain about bob sanders, there's no way that i can condone any of our players doing the same thing.
  2. we gave different looks on defense, we put decent pressure on manning. but most importantly, we kept the defense off of the field and fresh and that's exactly what we need to do every week. this is how i remember us from '05 and to a lesser extent, '06, we'd get the lead and then sit back and dare teams to throw on us, allowing our linjebackers to make plays on the short stuff. if urlacher stays healthy, we'll be able to do this, there is fuel left in that tank. although we can't just sit on the ball, we need to throw the ball downfield enough to keep defenses honest, and it looked like orton was more than up to the task tonight. great game calling by turner, i'll give him credit for that, we ran it down their throats.
  3. They said during tonight's game that they're calling de-spleened Chris Simms. I forgot all about him, that could be a move that actually pays off well. anybody's better than cassell.
  4. that was bear football right there! this defense doesn't look like it's ready to go quietly, kudos to briggs for playing like the perrenial pro-bowler that he is.
  5. is this the mike brown factor?
  6. no time outs? glorious!!!!!!!!!!
  7. One more stop and it's a blowout... even if they don't it's still a win :) I don't quite share that level of confidence yet. Head butt??? WTF??? It's a 3 score game with 5:30 left. technically, it's a 2 score game.
  8. back in '05, they were a great team with a alead, we'll see if it applies to this year.
  9. nice catch by gonzalez, jeez.
  10. In. I drafted him but was too afraid to start him. After suffering through Maroney today, I feel stoopid. We need to think up a better name. Does he have a nickname? I'm calling him Rappin' 4-Tay for now. jean forte?
  11. In. I drafted him but was too afraid to start him. After suffering through Maroney today, I feel stoopid. i started him today and i just won my game.
  12. should have given that one to forte!
  13. you idiots. colts panicking already.
  14. if addai wasn't hurt on that one, he'd pick it up if he just ran up the middle.
  15. addai's foot was planted on that hit.
  16. that one wasn't close, though.
  17. that looked like a catch. whew.
  18. they also send us a packer ornament every year on christmas, and even though i've converted my wife, she insists on hanging them on the tree. it's embarassing to have my friends over, even though they're packer fans, too.
  19. urlacher got tackled on that one.
  20. i married into a family that holds season tickets at the 50-yard line, 20 rows up.......at lambeau, they tolerate me.
  21. i just assumed that colts fans were doing the cheering because they don't know what's going on.
  22. don't pause like that!!!!!!!!
