we gave different looks on defense, we put decent pressure on manning. but most importantly, we kept the defense off of the field and fresh and that's exactly what we need to do every week. this is how i remember us from '05 and to a lesser extent, '06, we'd get the lead and then sit back and dare teams to throw on us, allowing our linjebackers to make plays on the short stuff. if urlacher stays healthy, we'll be able to do this, there is fuel left in that tank. although we can't just sit on the ball, we need to throw the ball downfield enough to keep defenses honest, and it looked like orton was more than up to the task tonight. great game calling by turner, i'll give him credit for that, we ran it down their throats.
