  1. http://pagesperso-orange.fr/nba-history/images/min/cba/QuadCityThunder.gif i swear to God i was coming her to post this when i saw that you already had.
  2. seriously, the okalahoma city thunder? that's like a way worse idea than the vancouver grizzlies. it's probably even a worse idea than my cousin going to college with his girlfriend, and she's already getting fat and clingy.
  3. maybe all their sadness will spawn some new tunes or something i know this guy who used to live in okc, his name is dave and he's my friend. well, dave says that oklahoma city is a nice place and that there's "totally tons of stuff to do there".
  4. i think it just sunk in that the sonics are no longer in seattle. all that history, erased. what a damn shame.
  5. lol, at least you're taking it well. any less of a reaction (from an Illini fan) would be cause for suspicion. frankly, I'm surprised he didn't somehow blame Ed Hightower for this frankly, i'm surprised that i've never said anything about ed hightower on this board, ever. but i know that truffle has. Just messing with you. I figured if I simply said "blame the refs" that it would deflect to Truffle anyways. i hate everything penn state right now.

  7. I hear Indiana swooped in and nabbed him at the gun if he's too good for illinois, then he's way too good for indiana.
  8. penn state's dl coach is officially too good for the state of illinois. screw him, i hope he never gets another dc offer, ever.
  9. i'm glad lebron decided to do nothing but something he's bad at and not something he's good at.
  10. someone tell the bull sthat rose plays for them.
  11. shut up, you know they'll be in. Why do I know they'll be in?? They were 16-4 at one point in 06-07 and didn't get in, they were 16-3 the year before and didn't get in. This is Michigan. When you haven't made the tourney since 1997, its hard to envision, especially when we've still got by far the hardest part of our Big 10 schedule to go. We've already played Indiana and Iowa once. I just won't believe it until I see it, especially when I saw how we played today. i'm sure that illinois is a tourney team and michigan is just about even with them.
  12. shut up, you know they'll be in.
  13. tisdale with a very james worthy-esque line.
  14. lol. creepy. I hope it motivates Tommie tommie is a strange guy. i think he could be bipolar.
  15. you said that the steelers won because of their offense.
  16. historically, the colts have been a very very good defense with bob sanders in the starting lineup and probably wouldn't have come close to winning the superbowl if he did not come back in the playoffs.
  17. did he just say that the steelers won because of their offense?
  18. your starting to think like me now. While the Bears have had some terrible coordinators, the real problem is the team philosophy of defense and ball control. This philosophy, when it works nets a great defense and a lousy offense. The defense gets old and ineffective and the team stinks. Then they get a good draft pick, get an impact player on defense and get back to being somewhat successful during the regular season. This formula, however, almost never works in the post season. This year's Titans are a good example. This year's Ravens team is the other side. The team the Bears always hope to have and have had twice in the last 30+ years. hmmm.....your ideas are intriguing to me and i wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
  19. As a team with a cheap starting RB, inexpensive QB and no receiver making a huge amount, I think it could be smart for them to overspend a little on the line. That's essentially what they did with Tait when they first brought him over to be the RT. It was necessary at the time. They don't have a very high draft pick, and don't have any important free agents of their own to resign, meaning there will be money available to spend on the line. i'd overspend for gross, he's a stud that gives instant credibility to our line. forte could make a career behind him.
  20. illinois has some good players. they're ranked 30 on scout but they'll go up if appleton finally gives a solid commitment. they have their bookend defensive ends in tank carradine and craig drummond........bad dudes. they have some more interior line help with lendell buckner. at the skill positions, they have terry hawthorne(wr, probably), bud golden(rb), and nathan scheelhaase(qb), most notably. although i think steve hull out of cincy could be a sleeper. on the offensive front, they've secured commitments from, again, notably: andrew carter and leon hill, but i'm crossing my fingers for marcus hall. not too shabby.
  21. Seriously. i was going to say that this is the most exciting boring game i've ever watched.
  22. oh please let them do this.
  23. yes, yes he would. maybe peppers, too, but that's a little greedy.
  24. plus, they'll have to replace gross.
