    O-Line please I'd like some O-Line depth to eventually replace some of our older guys, but a line of: Williams, Beekman, Kreutz, Garza, and Tait should do for next year. so, we should just forget about rushing the passer with the front 4? which, i might add, is the focal point of lovie's defense.

    the bears, however, are not the average franchise and chicago is not the average city.

    well, i'm not happy with the way this season turned out. the bears have a long way to go, with a perfect mix of some run-of-the-mill young players and aging veterans, no receivers, a bad line, no pass rush, and still no quarterback without much hope at getting one. i think the coaches are gutless and i have no faith in angelo to find a player to fill one of our many many holes. the ironic thing here is that lovie is a coach who preaches pressure with the front four but gets none, and instead of going after a pass rusher in the next draft, i bet angelo and lovie go after some useless ofensive player with the first pick---after trading down to pick up some extra guys in the 6th and 7th, of course.

    hindsight is 20/20, but jeez, he knows what these guys are capable of, you cannot give them the ball back with an opportunity to run 7-8 minutes off the clock. you have to keep the ball as long as you can. lovie is a gutless punk.

    you do not give the ball back to an offense like this. lovie was an idiot to it last time. he knows that we can't stop them, you. their territory is 4 down territory. what did he think would happen when he decided to punt there?

    my question is why would we even think about punting to these guys when we're in their terrirtory? they've popped off long drives against us all game, i'd think we'd want to do whatever it takes to keep their offense off the field, even if it means gambling a little bit. the ball on their own 10 is just like the ball on our 20 in this game.

    Seriously. I know its a good offensive team and its on the road and in controlled climate, but seriously, where is the pride? You are fighting for a playoff berth, you make probably twice as much as the offense makes, so you are supposed to be good to begin with, and you pressure the QB maybe 2 times all game and let him pick apart your secondary. Just pathetic and embarassing. Playoffs or not, this defense needs to be blown up and start over again with Briggs, Brown, Harris (barely), Graham and maybe Tilman staying around urlacher can stay, too, but what this team really needs are edge rushers.

    well, the pantsless jerks with the whistles have been swallowing them all day, and now decide to blow it dead.

    i hate to bitch here, but it incenses me when i see a bear obviously cross into the end zone and then see the ref who is on the line come running up looking for another ref to make the call. just put your hands up in the air you bunghole.

    the bears have gotten into the nasty place where their opponents look like they have 16 players on the field.

    i don't even want to think about the cubs getting swept in october again.

    here come a few gutless plays and then out. then the texans can have the ball back and not face third downs unless they're third and longs in which case they'll convert.
