    i can remember being heartbroken watching eddie belfour slam his stick into the boards after giving up the overtime goal that clinched it for the penguins in 4. i can remember watching cujo make a very overrated career for himself standing on his head against us in the first round of the playoffs after we won the president's trophy. it's been a few years since we were this excited for the blackhawks, but that's understandable.

    Raleigh. There are plenty of great hockey fans here in NC. I'm not one of them (although I have enjoyed this postseason and could see myself paying more attention to the sport in the future), but there is still plenty of public attention and dedication to the team. But you would know better I'm sure since you're closer to the community. Will it ever reach the popularity here as in of northern states? Probably not. But they're far from the Florida Marlins when it comes to communal support. i'm just real glad that boston is out.

    yah, that backhand was just disgusting. luongo had NO chance. I honestly hope they play detroit, I don't care if Anaheim is the easier matchup. Detroit Chicago will be amazing NHL 95, kane stole my move. pavel bure and sergei fedorov were absolute beasts at that one. my friends hated me because they couldn't do it, and they couldn't stop it.

    but the wings are like the russian national team. they are a machine. makes for good theatre if we can take em deep, though. plus, they've had a good whoopin coming from the hawks for a long time.
