federer through. he just doesn't make mistakes and there's no one who can put enough pressure on him to force him to make them except nadal. haas played him about as well as you can, but you have to be absolutely perfect. one mistake and you're broken and then the match is over.

it's simple, now. the bulls upper management has to find a guy who can fill it up without arousing suspicion in their owner. they're in a tough spot. if they aren't successful, they get the axe, but they don't really have the okay to try to make the next step. they're essentially trapped between heaven and earth like in the serpent and the rainbow.

i don't think reinsdorf gives a toss about the bulls success and i certainly don't think he would give the okay to acquire a high profile superstar. i think he had his fill of superstars back in the 90's.

dementieva should have won the match, she made some really terrible mistakes and got some bad breaks, but i thought she totally outclassed serena, who survived through the first 2 1/2 sets simply on her serve. the last few games, though, she started doing what she need to do, hitting the ball real hard. but she was lucky to get through to the third.

I feel bad for that dude. i give him credit though, i thought his career was over the first time he broke it. big dudes with foot problems don't last long in the nba. however, ilgauskas was able to get over his early foot problems and have a relatively productive nba career, so why not?

impressive. tracy smith, aleks maric, sean may. kind of makes you wonder why he went where he did, eh? And look at how far he is from all of them by percentage. Then look at where any of those guys are in defensive rebound percentage. They had another article that showed him as the best overall rebounder in college history. Rebounding is one of the highest translated stats from NCAA to NBA. we'll see how he does. i'm betting he does just as well as any other undersized power forward who physically dominated college players. That's pretty dumb. The spectrum of undersized power forwards ranges from training camp fodder to all time NBA greats. o yeah? well, i think ur dumb, too. but seriously, most of them have been bad.

Yeah, but nobody is saying that Blair is Walton, Shaq, or Duncan i was being a little facetious.

yeah but defense doesn't translate to the nba if you're a lazy fatass; if you can't get off the couch without gasping for breath then you're probably not going to guard an nba power forward. well, i think work ethic is subjective. robert traylor was pretty much an identical player in college. if traylor's talent in lieu of work ethic put him in blair's class alone.....well, you can't teach talent. No Traylor was not even close to the rebounder Blair was. Blair is statistically the best rebounder in college history. traylor wasn't close? huh? but seriously, where is your link for rebounding statistics?

Carlos Boozer part 2. baxter, traylor, o miller take your pick. none of those guys rebounded as well as blair. he might be big, but he supposedly has an excellent work ethic, which i wouldn't say about traylor or miller. but they were all better defenders than blair, too, so it evens out.

I'm starting to wonder if Blair is even going to be taken. To fall this low he must been hiding peg legs during his time in college. he's like the reincarnation of lonny baxter.
