  1. and there they go, blowout city.
  2. after the 10th blatant foul in a row, they finally placate the bulls.
  3. i don't mind having michale jordan's brain getting those shots, if he beats us, we suck.
  4. wow, missed a blatant double dribble there.
  5. i know. it shocks me how many sparring partners aren't as good as the boxers they're hired off the street to spar with. Yes, this is exactly how boxers train for a world championship fight. i didn't realize that they brought in the corpses of tommie hearns and roberto duran to spar with him.
  6. did you guys see schlereth's latest breakdown of the bears on espnchicago? it's not that he's totally ignorant about the team, it's the way he says "chicago bears" at the beginning of the analysis. listen to it, seriously, he's a clown. i have no idea what he has against the bears, but it must be big and it must go back a ways.
  7. beats talking Illinois basketball. beats talking irrelevant hoops. yeah, thats what i said. that's like tonya harding accusing britney spears of being white trash. or like oj calling the john ramsey a murderer.

  9. QFT Jamarcus Russell has a better arm. But it hasn't done him any good. when i say "single best arm in the league", what i mean is an arm that can fire a ball 65-yards down the field without crow-hopping and hit a reciver in stride as he crosses the goal-line. nobody else in the league can make a throw like this, not even a guy like russell who can throw a football through a brick wall: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayItjFT9dQw&feature=related

  11. Who do you think are? not the vikings. i would pick the packers ahead of the vikings this year.
  12. The only Qbs definitely better than Cutler are P Manning, Brady, Brees. The only others that may even have an argument is Warner, McNabb, Roethlisberger, and Romo. And of this group, 1 will be retired soon, 1 is on his way down, 1 has had the luxury of an amazing defense, and the other has the most talented team in the league and can't win after November. However, I do think another great season by Rivers, Cassel (especially in KC), Rodgers, Eli (especially w/o Plax), a healthy year from Schaub, or an MVP like year by Matt Ryan could put them in the discussion. As of this moment, I would rank Cutler as the 5th or 6th best QB, depending on how you feel about McNabb. Yea I agree with that which is why I questioned Cutler being called a "top 10-15" qb which is ridiculous. Cutler is more of a top 5 qb than he is a top 10-15. I think El Cabello is letting his Packer homerism get in the way. cutler has the single best arm in the league.
  13. my favorite memory of hatton is when mayweather knocked him silly and the hatton fans had to stop singing even though they were way drunk and white.
  14. it's the battle of the two most annoying fan bases.
  15. rondo has looked good because the bull shave attempted to force him to beat them in this series and it's kind of worked, for the most part.
  16. http://www.bill-parkinson.co.uk/graphics/chuck-berry.jpg dirty.
  17. it was intentional. if he was late getting to the spot, he wouldn't have stopped and stuck his leg out, he just would have collided with kirk and they both would have gone down. it was controlled.
  18. yeah, he knows the defense inside and out, he's smart and he can still lay people out. i hope they come to their senses and figure out that neither steltz nor bullocks is the answer. if we go into the season with either of those two, we're doomed. steltz reminds me of AA and bullocks reminds me of d. manning, i don't think either of them do anything particularly well, and both of them do a few things very very poorly.
  19. what his status? has he been talking to anyone?
  20. that's a whole lot of coincidence considering no other player in the series (the puky celtics included) has given one foul that has been as noticed. and yeah, he knew what he was doing when he tripped hinrich. he stuck his leg out, looked down and then stopped, he had no intention of ever going up for the block or giving a foul on the shot. it was pretty obvious.
  21. At this point, I really don't understand not bringing Brown back. They can get him cheap, and at the very least he can buy you some time early in the season to get those guys coached up. Is it possible there was some sort of falling out with the coaching staff? knowing mike brown's penchant for saying what's on his mind, it wouldn't surprise me at all.
  22. judging from his behavior in the series, this should be the straw that breaks the camel's back. from tripping kirk to punching miller to throwing kirk into the scorer's table, he's been a thug in the series and he doesn't deserve to play in game 7. but, the celtics are the dirtiest bunch of pukes in the NBA, maybe the league will chalk it up to boston being boston and do nothing.
