    I mentioned clements a page ago losers. But anyway, if we go 3-4, i could see us holding on to urlacher and shifting briggs to the middle as well. The 3-4 would extend their careers.

    Which makes me think he's running Shaw off, the one thing that kid can do is rebound. shaw is awful at everything. the illini have a couple of guys coming in next year that will rebound.

    i don't think so. Groce knows this team and is willing to sacrifice rebounds for guys that can shoot. we were out-rebounded by 23 and still had a chance to beat a top-12 team. if our guys shoot their average on open 3's, we win easy. missouri was lucky to win.

    jay isn't going anywhere star players don't move in the NFL unless they force their way out via trade(which he won't do again) or their team decides it's time to move on.

    yahoo reporting that lovie is safe. but then they also are saying whisenhunt is safe which doesn't make sense. i have a feeling that if they fire lovie, they will first go to the packers for clements, and this time they can't say no. and i will be ecstatic. then, sign jake long and draft a tackle high, move carimi permanently to guard and your offense is instantlly legitimate.

    They know the refs won't call everything. So hack away. 5 of their guys have teardrop tattoos on their faces. no way bowers is a day under 30 and oriakhi is from parts unknown. i think the only player they have that looks like he belongs on a college basketball court is pressey.

    His development was stunted a bit by an injury that knocked him out for several games, but yeah, he's about where I expected him to be - which isn't good. I'm actually pretty happy about the game today. We kept from losing draft positioning and with as awful as we looked, Munchak has to be that much closer to being fired. I hate to see us lose, but this is good for the organization overall I think. i thought munchak WAS fired.
