    there's really no reason to hate the hawks, other than the fact that buff will piss in your cherios and score with your girlfriend on your dad's pool table while you stand there and watch, helpless and in disbelief. the canuck fans were pinning their hopes on blake and thornton, now, it's pronger as a last hope for shark fans. we hate pronger but we hate buff worse! pronger will get him! i certainly hope pronger focuses his attention on buff while the real players are skating all over the zone.

    I've never implied you were insulting the Hawks. If you took it that way, then I'm sorry, but that wasn't what I was trying to say. To me, it seemed you were trying to defend the Sharks. The reality is, how the Sharks played against the Hawks has been the playoff M.O. for the last few years. Then you haven't watched the Sharks in the last few years. This season, Heatley didn't play well, but was hurt. Thornton wasn't great but he was much better than he had been in previous years,. Marleau was great. The team as a whole played well. The hawks were just a little bit better. I just don't understand why it's so hard for you to admit that the Sharks skated right with the Hawks for 3 of the 4 games and could have easily won any of those. It's very strange that you can't admit it. i think the hawks were in their heads the whole series after coming back from an early deficit in game 1. the hawks had an answer every time the sharks got a lead and by game 4, i think san jose expected the hawks to come back and win.

    fleury's career hasn't been nearly worthy of #1 overall pick from that draft. he's average.

    i know that i'm going to regret saying that it would be awesome to see philly make a run in the playoffs after they went down 0-2 to boston.

    Is that just your negative Chicago fan side coming out, or are you basing it on something? Though I don't watch all that much hockey, my sense is that the Sharks are a better team than the Flyers. the sharks are infinitely better than the flyers, but i think we had a tough time with the ugly, disgustingly boring hockey of nashville and we'll have a tough time playing whatever sport it is that the flyers play.

    well, since this team had absolutely no expectations going into the playoffs, i'm sure the fans won't be all that mad if buff waves his dick in their faces. i fully expect the blackhawks to lose, though.

    the comparison you're searching for desperately is the bad boy pistons, after getting wiped by one of the league's all-time great teams. i would imagine that their fans were just as mad as their players, who refused the handshake.

    i think it's pretty obvious that they're just idiots. historically, it's hard to refute. and still, watching montreal run a train on their team must have been real tough.

    the hawks obviously spent more on their roster (and probably marketing too) than the dollar bill years, but they had sellouts pretty much every game, at least 10 home playoff games, lots more in merchandise sales, and local tv revenue. there's no way the hawks aren't making more than they did under bill. what a dolt. wirtz wasn't about money he was just against the fans for some reason. he hated them, he knew he could make more money but he refused to relent.

    he pushes your forwards and defensemen around and then scores the winning goal, he is the king of beasts.
