    i'm positive that it does not. if the cap is 59.2 or 59.4, and the bonus hits are 4 mil or thereabouts, that would put it at 55.2 without taking into consideration any exemptions. bowman's got to know something we do not.

    The sign and trade would clear cap space, presumably. They are very close to enough space for two max as it is. Not unless they trade Deng it won't. it depends how far they are under the cap and how much salary is going the other way. they don't have to trade deng to make room, there's room elsewhere, but there are also cheap, productive players elsewhere, too.

    the hawks can't possibly keep keith, kane, toews, or seabrook. no matter how you work the salries, it doesn't work. have fun with the cup this year, hawks, it's going to be another 50 years. AT LEAST!

    While a funny statement to be sure, when there are likely 10 max contracts to be handed out, there is a shortage of talent relative to the supply of contracts. but the obvious reason is that the new cba is expected to be much less player-friendly.

    fair enough, ladd is bigger, which seems to be what bowman is valuing right now, and has won the cup twice. keeping either one would be a success. maybe i just like the steeger's style, he's had some amazing goals.

    anybody know anything about those players? anyways, i'm thrilled if this means we get to keep laddy. honestly, i'd rather have versteeg than ladd. i don't think it's a huge difference, but i think versteeg is a more dynamic and creative player and will continue to improve.

    Varejao 8.6 PPG 7.6 RPG 0.9 BPG Noah 10.7 PPG 11 RPG 1.6 BPG take about 4 of those rebounds away from verajao and give them to noah if lebron decides to bring the brick show to town. Not everyone can have dead-eye shooters at every position like the Bulls. and add lebron to the mix and you have some serious rebounding numbers.
