  1. that was just a disgraceful display.
  2. why in the hell does bill cartwright look like tom thibodeau?
  3. rose is still really good though.
  4. have the celtics missed a shot yet?
  5. i admittedly haven't seen him play all that much, but is boozer's game just taking awkward-looking and contested jumpshots?
  6. we look non-competitive. it would be nice if we could actually be in a game.
  7. saw this on the illini scout board. lol. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs493.ash2/76679_576130933399_156805148_32551944_521567_n.jpg
  8. How is that a scathing review? It's been known for years that the Cubs organization was a disorganized mess. You have a product that all but sells itself and new ownership coming in. They are going to replace people when that happens. it was a scathing review, but an unnecessary one. plus it really sounds as if it's trying to degrade the lower-level employees.
  9. sorry, i meant to say he's doubtful. not out officially yet. but it's clearly fortuitous for us.
  10. vandenbosch out too, apparently.
  11. i've already said it doesn't make much difference, but it IS embarrassing.
  12. oh, i'm not saying it inhibits their chances of making the super bowl in any way. i just don't like the idea of everyone talking super bowl because we're 8-3. i haven't really heard much about the super bowl from the wisconsin media regarding the packers, nor have i heard much super bowl talk from packers players. so the jets are talking super bowl, that doesn't surprise me. rex ryan has a big mouth and isn't afraid to brag a little bit. i'm sure both he and they will be humiliated when the jets inevitably screw things up. Well, it's not like Pittsburgh stays hush about the Super Bowl, or the people around New England for that matter. It's better than "contend within the division talk". pittsburgh and new england can pretty much say whatever they want and not sound silly. everyone's goal should be the super bowl, everyone should say that their goal is to get to the super bowl, not everyone should talk like they're super bowl contenders after they win a some games in a row.

  14. I thought Marinelli was supposed to be a "teacher" too though? it's not like being a teacher and having experience are mutually exclusive. i don't know how much marinelli has helped our defense in terms of production on the field, but the players seem to love him and they think he's helping them. as far as all this super bowl talk, it's embarrassing. everyone should be thinking super bowl, but not saying it. maybe it's the media bringing it up, but i still don't like hearing it after the team has a good month.
  15. Don't sugar coat it, Sulley...... tell us how you really feel !!! throw in a disembowelment for good measure.
  16. that's because you are frightening looking and meet chicks on the internet
  17. http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/news/story?id=5872317 oh [expletive], please kill this guy, kill him and stomp his [expletive] face in the dirt and take a [expletive] on him.
  18. they need to win this.
  19. we're getting smoked like a guillermo mota fastball.
  20. yeah, i can't imagine playing against him and trying to get a shot up on the inside even if i were 6-10 and good at basketball.
  21. they'll take a step back without dmac, but paul will probably be running the point. and if he wants to play in the league, that's where he will be. could be the next great point guard at illinois. and then abrams of course. and then, hopefully austin.
  22. seriously, why would gruden want to coach in college? he'd have to work his ass off. he's got a nice, cushy job. if anything, he's waiting for a pro opportunity.
  23. and head is good, next year he'll emerge. he is what we thought legion would be, he can actually dribble the ball.
  24. sullinger got swatted a lot. singleton shut him down. osu is stacked though.
  25. re-watching the eagles game, i am very impressed with henry melton. in the first half, he was constantly pushing his man up the field and getting in on and disrupting plays. i think we actually have a good one here, with the size to bull-rush and the speed to come off the edge.
