  1. 1. proceed to jordy nelson's face 2. smash with hammer
  2. and he could be clay matthews's equally hermaphroditic-looking twin brother.
  3. blaine gabbert is so ridiculously awful.
  4. go Panthers!
  5. chef boyardee with a touchdown for green bay
  6. john henry looks like he should own a 19th century chicago stockyard.
  7. it's really not fair. but anyways, i like the fact that tb is going to get pounded out of contention.
  8. fun fact: the bears were 5-3 against 3-4 defenses last year, but only averaged about 18 points per game. if you take out the last game of the year against the packers, they were 5-2 and averaged 21 points per game.
  9. because you were incorrect in the first place
  10. jay doesn't call the protections, garza does.
  11. i think he should grow a long beard and dreads and stop talking to everyone about everything except to occasionally look directly into the camera and mutter something vaguely threatening.
  12. welcome to chicago! have you met the transsexual genius writer who helped start baseball prospectus? it's part of your initiation.
  13. he tends to do that a lot.
  14. wow, that was an unlikely gag job
  15. here's what happened......we were trying to rush carimi back without surgery, but lance louis started wrecking shop, so we were like, oh, it's ok, we'll just scope the knee, take care of it responsibly and then take our time. but then williams got hurt and we're like [expletive], and then carimi probably got an infection or is still having significant pain, so now we're kind of screwed.
  16. it's pronounced leonard meyersly
  17. According to Rivals he had offers from Illinois, Ohio St, Marquette, Cal, Iowa, and Iowa St. I don't know how accurate that is and how hard Illinois was trying for him though. I think he's a good fit for Purdue at any rate. Plus he's coming in at a good time to have success as a scorer. they offered him early, and got commits from better players before he could pull the trigger. he had his illinois offer pulled before he committed to purdue.
  18. and he forgot his toothbrush, which really came back to haunt him after that gallon of thick onion gravy he drained in the car on the way to the PC.
  19. i'm sure he packed a short-sleeved dress shirt and a mustard-colored tie.
  20. did paterno get arrested yet?
  21. ugh, purdue hour, how i loathe it. it's just not the same without da bum.
  22. What has been severely lacking so far is Purdue's defense. Teams are figuring out how to score on them, and Painter has yet to adjust. As you mentioned, they lack an inside presence. Granted, it's early in the season, but based on what I've seen so far, Carroll has not taken the step forward I had hoped this year and Marcius really isn't developing as quickly as many thought he would. What do you think of Anthony Johnson so far? He's going to be a good one. I bet he's the leading scorer next year and makes the All-Freshman team this year. Maybe I'm too high on him... Some of the Illinois posters here were pretty down on him. I think the RS year was exactly what he needed. i would have taken any of the guards now on our team over johnson. that's not to say he won't be a very good player.
  23. i like our athleticism a lot. i like how DJ looks much more versatile and dynamic than he did last year. i like how leonard meyerson is altering pretty much every shot around the rim. i like how they run the floor. i love bertrand, he needs to play more. i like the fact that the freshman are getting experience, counted 4 on the floor at one time last night. shaw is as advertised, a guy that does a lot of little things--he's also 6-9 if he's an inch, not 6-6 like people were saying last year. i like griffey's solid play and rebounding thus far. i like that paul looks stronger and more comfortable finishing at the basket, keep that up. i don't like that fact that we look sloppy a lot and that our jumpshooting is suspect. those things could derail our season and keep us out of the tournament. i'm optimistic about our chances right now, though.
  24. i take everything pejoratively, haha
  25. james loney? as in the james loney who had pictures of frank mccourt and was blackmailing him into making sure he started? he's terrible.
