he was probably cut-blocking all game, which isn't dirty, but i bet there were more instances of those cut blocks turning into chop blocks that nobody noticed. i don't care, like you said the second one wasn't dirty, i was just going along with the outrage.

and chop blocks, too like i said, i didn't see those plays but i have a suspicion you may be quibbling a bit on the descriptions, considering a brief regrettable foray into the Bears game threads each week brings up countless sulleymon calls for fouls not being called (against only the opponent) the impartial third party observers in this thread can rightly act as the voice of reason on these plays like you said, you didn't see those plays

i was wise enough to bench stafford this week, so i had no real interest. i know calvin's like your favorite player, but even you've got to admire what happened to him over and over last night.

it was a bad call, but it really didn't matter that the refs called the penalty. Yeah that was the thing. Everyone just kind of said eh who cares? But it was woefully fitting that the Lions got away (namely Suh) with multiple things while Briggs got flagged for a clean hit. true. but it was an awesome hit and the message was delivered.

"So it's going to turn into if you're going to fine me $40,000, I might as well put him to sleep for real or I might as well blow his knee out." - Ryan Clark i'd pull up a bunch of James Harrison quotes too if i thought you might be capable of reasoning with on this matter really, where were these absurd histrionics when Meriweather ran across the field to spear Burleson in the helmet after the play during the first meeting? all of chicago was calling for meriweather to be benched after watching him run around trying to spear people for 4-5 games. and he was.

The next guy who should be brought in is Schwartz. Because it's pretty clear to me this is ultimately coming from him. ...Schwartz was with Suh, and it was Suh who requested the meeting to get a better understanding behind a couple of his fines also, lots of psychotic frothing on this page alone, good lord, people people tend to get touchy when they see a team intentionally trying to injure their franchise quarterback. it'll be easier for you to understand if/when your team gets one. if the joke is that the lions don't have a franchise QB because stafford threw a lot of picks yesterday, i invite you to never look at cutler's espn page i would have guessed that you would have loved last night's snuff film.

right. The tackle was fine. It was ripping off Cutler's helmet after he was down that was dirty. if you watch the play, it's obvious that he's actually trying to rip his helmet off.

the hit on the chocobot was clean as hell and his helmet stayed on. it just looked dirty because it was so violent and peppers made this unstoppable physical specimen look like tina turner talking back to ike.
