Stop that! Why? Because you don't play for the Boston Celtics and we don't play for the Chicago Bulls. he's been a fan of the celtics longer than any of their players have been there, likewise us for the bulls. i don't see a problem with it.

i'm upset about losing out on mckenzie, but man, he looks like he was born to be the raiders' GM. as far as our own GM search, i don't see a way out of the mess that has been created, it's like they're absolutely intent on doing the dumbest thing possible. i mean, you naturally assume people in important positions got there by being savvy and smart. just give a great candidate a lot of money, it's easy.

I dont even know what this means. That was a good outcome for IU. He was apologizing to IU fans for considering OSU the best team in the conference. Even for Sulley that was a non-sequitur. I'm unaware of any IU fan that actually thinks IU is the best team in the conference -- this one thinks they are only the fourth-best. Regardless, it seems odd to be taking pot-shots (I guess?) at IU after Illinois just had a great win. i don't think i'm especially left field overall, i just didn't clarify what i meant. no disrespect for IU, i wasn't meaning to take a "pot-shot", in fact, if anything, it was a compliment indicating that i consider them in the mix for best team in conference.

Illinois can definitely beat any team in the Big 10, but they are just as likely to shoot 27% on any given night and lose to the worst team. Tonight's win was huge, but I'm still under no illusion that they will compete for the conference title. The talent is there, but the team still like like they're all just aimlessly wandering around the perimeter on offense. I don't like to be a wet blanket, but I'm chalking this one up in large part to Paul just losing his mind in a manner we probably won't see again. Then again the team is pretty young and consistently better play might come with more continuity. i agree. we can't rely on paul getting a million points every night. it was a huge night for him and it's awesome, but i'm not convinced this team is any good with this offensive system.

It took osu 7 seconds to get the ball in bounds, the refs essentially went back and said it should have only taken you 5, so they put 2 more seconds on the shot clock. Thats the best i got.

i've got the rise of the apes movie loaded and ready just in case. whats everyones opinion on bertrand's success? doesnt seem he shoots threes too often, maybe teams will lay off him and make him shoot 20% out there like Paul. ETA looked it up holy crap bertrand 2pt FG 48/78 3pt FG 0/2 bertrand needs to keep getting his shot, and i don't mean from 3-point land, he's most likely more dreadful than paul out there, and that's saying something.
